macOS 10.14.4 Update

I was getting a hang after the first boot (after starting the normal Software Update from 10.14.3 to 10.14.4) and before the installation started proper. Looking at the startup messages, the boot was getting stuck at "kextd stall[1], (240s): 'AppleACPICPU' ". A possible workaround: use a generic Clover boot (such as one you created with Unibeast), boot from USB, then select the Install Mojave boot (on your main disk) from the Clover menu. It reboots a few times: keep booting from USB until you are all the way back into OSX, then reboot as normal. This worked for me with no other changes needed.

Well shoot - I thought I had it resolved with CodecCommander. Initial testing had audio resuming after sleep, but it just went out on me again. Very odd.
Gave a try to CodecCommander too without success, but just installed previous version Lilu 1.3.4 with latest AppleALC 1.3.6 and sound is OK again after sleep, will continue some tests.

EDIT: it's far from being perfect, my motherboard is equipped with ALC1150, installing Lilu 1.3.4 and AppleALC 1.3.6, sound is back after wake from sleep but will disappear if not used for a moment... For example, I run iTunes just after sleep, music can play forever but if I stop and try to play something again seconds later, theres's no sound and it won't come back unless I reboot.

Update process went smooth, requiring 4 reboots. Everything seems to be working as it should, but I can't speak to audio issues as I use USB for my audio.

For me everything went smooth. 15 minutes after download maximum and it was done.
:)

Updated, it took more than 30 min to start after reboot, no problems so far

After updating Clover, EFI and kexts to the current latest releases, the upgrade to 10.14.4 had no problem, although I did follow B1's fix for Z370N's 10.14.4 upgrade, i.e. in the Gigabyte m/b setup:

"You need to set BIOS ▸ Security option to Setup. After update you can set it back to System."

Hi! do you say that with this update, Mojave supports Intel Graphics UHD 630 native now?
So, you had made a video patch in config.plist with hackintool (platformId, etc)... and now it is not necessary?

Can you explain something more about this?

thanks!
