Hi
On my Gigabyte Z390 M Gaming, everything is working fine but when I set the overclocking in the BIOS (say to 4.5GHz), it shows up in the actual BIOS as that speed, but when I boot into Mac the only the core clock speed is displaying (3.7GHZ). Has anyone got any ideas on what might be the issue? I've looked through the forums but haven't found anything.
Thanks

Thanks for your reply - I assume that's the one under Acpi >> Plugin Type? I've tried blank, 0 & 1 with no difference...

Even when overclocked, the core speed is still the same, it is built into the chip what the core is and this is what is displayed.
It can ramp up to 4.5GHz when it needs to if overclocked in the BIOS to that speed.
If you run Intel Power Gadget and run something that stresses the CPU you will see it go above the core speed and up to your 4.5GHz.
