[SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

Please compress and upload the CLOVER folder from the USB install disk. By the way, are you pressing F12 at BIOS Splash screen and choosing to boot from the USB flash disk?
I actually made it, i did update the motherboard’s firmware to the F5 version and it worked. I really don’t know what I did exactly but in the end everything worked as you typed in this guide. Now I need to finish the last section. Thanks a lot, I really appreciate your work.

Where did you purchase the Define R6 from? I've been waiting for it (not the tempered glass version) to go on sale, but the price has been pretty stagnant on Amazon and Newegg the last 2+ months.

Some important news for 9700K and 9900K owners. Have to wonder how they will remove the heat produced by 9th gen chips in an iMac. The i9-9900K is an option. Please Apple, don't tell me the answer is thermal throttling the CPU.

Nice! New SMBIOS for us i9'ers. Although.. I don't know if I'd even switch because it's a big hassle for software licenses. Also curious about how they're going to cool that thing. My Noctua cooler does a great job but it's gigantic!

I think it would suit the Z390 chipset better, probably worth it. No more Unknown CPU as well :)

Wow! So the 0x3E98 device ID of the UHD630 should finally be supported natively. And “About this Mac” should also identify the CPU. I would like to compare GeekBench numbers!

Oh, and there’s no T2 chip!

I guess Framebuffer Patch needs to be reapplied to reflect proper values. Does it make sense?

We can remove the device-id parameter (no need to inject fake ID of 0x3E9B anymore), but leave everything else intact. We’ll still get HDMI black screen problem, so the connector patches are still needed.

Of course, this will require 10.14.4.

I bought it here in Switzerland for 140 bucks. (I’m boycotting amazon…)

Thanks @CaseySJ , I have bought it from the same seller. Thinking of giving him one more chance ... :)

Hi @CaseySJ , I have just replaced my BCM94360CS2 to the new one. It seems wifi, BT and Airdrop worksfine , however it does not look like Handoff, Auto-unlock and Continuity work at all. I'm on High Sierra though, but per Apple it should still work. Do you know what I would be checking?
