[SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

I followed the manual which stated that Slot 4, PCIEX4. USB-C is working when it's not powered.
The attached SSDT has been modified for your motherboard (Titan Ridge card at node PCI0.RP21) and Slot 4. It has not been tested (obviously) so please give it a try:
  • Mount EFI partition of your Mojave SSD
  • Copy the file to CLOVER/ACPI/patched folder
  • Reboot
When you log back in, try the following:
  • Test hot plug by inserting a USB-C flash disk or any other USB-C device
  • If you have any Thunderbolt 3 devices, plug them in and see if they work
Note:
  • If you plug in a USB 3.1 Type-C device and you see slow data transfer rate (by using Black Magic Design's Disk Speed Test utility), please let me know. I have assumed that USB 3.x and 2.x devices are mapped to the same addresses as on the Designare, which may or may not be correct.

It is working, albeit I have my USB-C connection to try only. Here the IORegistryExplorer tree output.

Copy the red value from Old (the original your) SMBIOS, to New SMBIOS, and no iCloud lose...
The number on RT Variables (if you use it) "MLB", must contain the same value of "SMBIOS Board serial Number".

Thanks @FormerUser-594785. That makes perfect sense, it is just that I have a feeling I understand it, but only from 10,000 foot view ... As an example - I'm trying to get an idea what Rt Values are and do I need them and why? I was trying to look at clover docs, but they rather talk more on how to change them, etc ... So that basically brings lack of confidence.

Do you happen to know where I could get a good read on Rt Variables?

@CaseySJ ,

Do you know of any SATA PCIe (preferably x1) card for additional 4-6 drives that would work out of the box on macOS?

I find this:

Digits and letters, 17 in length, describing the motherboard's serial number. No special rule exists here. The best option is to choose a real serial number and to replace digits in the middle. For instance, write …SLICE… or whatever comes to your mind.

Hi Casey...

I found that uncheck PluginType in ACPI Section of Clover Configurator, I can view in Energy Saver-System Preferences
the Sleep Time Tab.
What difference between the 2 methods?

I'm afraid I completely forgot to mention that you must also copy the attached SSDT-DTPG.aml into the CLOVER/ACPI/patched folder. The Thunderbolt SSDT will not work fully without it. As you can see in the PCI screenshot, there are still some display issues which should hopefully be remedied after you do this.
