I fixed the booting issue by replacing config.plist, but now i have a problem with graphics. Graphics card is recognized, but the screen resolution would not change. GT 730 works perfectly on Sierra. Any idea how to fix this?

Thank you very much for all the help. One thing, GPU only shows 1GB. It should be 2GB. Is there a way to fix this?

Hi trs96. As I couldn't find any good deal to build another Optiplex 7010 on your other guide, I started looking for HP 8300. I made a steal deal yesterday.

HP Elite 8300 SFF - i7 3770 - 16go RAM 1600Mhz - 256Go SSD. All for 160€ (around 179$).

I will follow your guide this afternoon and keep you guys updated if everything works as expected, but I'm sure it will as your guides are amazingly complete and well presented. And as it's the third I build, I hope I'm getting a bit used to it !

Yes, that's a really good deal. The i7-3770 is one of the best choices for these. Plus a 256 Gig SSD should make it really fast and responsive.

So far, I'm stuck on a weird issue : I'm at step 6 but don't understand why I have a shitty resolution and no other choice than 1024x768.... I'm using HD4000. I did Mojave install.

EDIT : maybe has something to do with the fact it's unusual ratio ? (21/9). But it does work on Mojave on Optiplex 7010, with kind of the same hardware

EDIT 2 : went a bit further in the guide, seems like Clover changes fixed the issue !

This was probably easier than my 2 previous builds on Optiplex. All working in 1h30. Thanks for your guide, try96, clear as usual.

A quick feedback for Mojave. I am afraid I find it too buggy. When opening applications, system preferences, some files there is significant lagging. I keep watching beach ball for seconds. It is very annoying but bluetooth (ASUS 400 USB) is more annoying. There is a serious lag with magic keyboard it is frequent but not all the times. Magic mouse is OK. I am planning to reinstall it (clean) when I have a spare time. Or perhaps go back to HS

I installed Mojave and I think everything is working, but the graphics do not. I am using an i7-3770 that has an integrated HD 4000, in Multibest mojave only the HD6XXX appears. I only have 7mb of video and I have graphic errors. How can I solve that?

Thank you!
