Finally. Finally, after many months of waiting, iMessage got itself working today after I returned from a travel to Italy for 3 months. Apparently all I never did was to patiently wait for my generated values settle. I’m so unbelievably happy right now. FaceTime and iMessage popped on iPhone telling that it have been activated on my build.
I couldn’t be here now if it weren’t for these instructions. Thank you very much @jaymonkey

I've got my Messages working again (new High Sierra dual boot build here), but I already had it working with this guide yesterday too...wasn't working this AM and had to start from scratch.

All I'd done overnight is work on my Windows install (on it's own drive, with it's own EFI on that drive)...

Is there any chance something about my Windows side somehow screwed something up with iMessage when switching between each OS?

Thanks for any thoughts or insights anyone might have from their own wanderings here.

I don't think windows had anything to do with it. After reading your post I decided to try imessage which hasn't been working for me for months. It worked today. I didn't do anything.

Thx for the reply - super odd for sure.
I redid it all from scratch with the "Idiot's guide" here and all is working great now for the 2nd day - and I'd even done a bunch in Windows last night...so..fingers crossed - working great right now! haha

HI to all
I can not active iMessages in Mojave 10.14.3. Machine is Asrock Z77 extreme 4 / i5-3750K.
Onboard LAN is Broadcom BCM57781. I use fake pci to lunch. Wen I use iMessageDebugv show in ROM : ffffffffff.
So in Clover everything is perfect IN . I use SMBIOS 14.2. ROM dropdown list select UseMacAddr0
and I not success. So I buy new LAN RTL8111E. I disable onboard Lan. but still same problem, Debug say : ROM : ffffffffff.
I start to check NVram .. SO I reinstall clover boot loader. I dellete EmuVariableUefi-64. Just installing RC scripts. After that make one test to see nvram work or not.. So
in terminal I write
sudo nvram TestVar=HelloWorld
restart
after boot
sudo nvram -p | grep 'TestVar'
and system show me
HelloWorld.
that's meen NVRAM are work fine without EmuVariableUefi-64.
but still debug script show ROM : fffffffffff
I try to add manual ROM from my LAN MAC address.
after reboot system show ROM, that one who I add in Clover ROM dropdown list.
but again can not activate iMessages.
Si I try format partition.. New install clear 10.14.3. and again same thing.
After that I change smbios to MacPro 6.1 and again same problem.
Somewhere I read I should add AptioInputFix-64.efi in clover - UEFI.
So Again I format SSD . New installation . new SMBIOS but again if I use ROM dropdown list select UseMacAddr0.
debug show ROM : ffffffffff
here is my config if someone can plere reply.

I've followed a guide on here to install Mac on the hp 6300 and everything works PERFECTLY but I've tried literally every single thing on the internet to get iMessage working and its not happening lol I'm 99% I must be ip blocked by apple! does anybody know if calling apple with the support code error has gotten any success? all of my clover settings are fine including my serial! wonder if giving apple support will do the trick ?

Did you run iMessage debug script? Were the results good? Did the info match on reboot?

HOkay to make things straightforward, we need a
1. A S/N that is VALID in everyman, but INVALID in the coverage check. The S/N is then duplicated to the "Board Serial Number," whose last five digits are randomized.
2. A ramdomized UUID
3. A network established a en0. I do not have a ethernet cable, so my WiFi adapter is automatically en0 (the only doubtful part)
4. BooterConfig set to 0x28, CsrActiveConfig set to 0x67
5. Install at least these of the following drivers:
a.)ApfsDriverloader
b.)Aptiomemoryfix
c.)EmuVariableUefi
d.)FSInjectall
6. I have removed the network config so many times.

But this is still not working. For the convenience of editing the .plist file, I enabled the root user. When testing with the root user, I can get to the prompt of second factor authentication. Although I always type in the code correctly and in a timely manner, the error will appear after I typed in the numbers. When using a non-root admin, the second factor prompt wouldn't even show up before throwing me with the error "And error occurred during activation. Please try again later.

I am using Dell XPS 9560, i7 7700HQ 2.8 GHz (and I emulate the 15 inch MBP 2017 with the same CPU config), 16GB RAM, HD 620 and GTX 1050 (disabled), 512GB SSD. App Store works fine... except iMessage.

Any Ideas?
