Hi i'm running Mac OS Mojave 10.14.1 hackintosh and basically whenever i boot into mac os i always have to manually select the speaker as my own audio device so the sound will play through it can you help me make it the default audio device right from booting. I am using Voodoo HDA 2.9.1. I also created a custom HIDPI resolution because the native 1920x1080 resolution was too tiny right now i'm using a scaled up 1600x900 hidpi resolution. When i boot into mac os i always have to select it after i login with the RDM app because it doesn't show in systemspref/displays even when i click on scaled with the command button. I put the RDM app in the login items so it starts with mac os but it still does not use the hidpi resolution as default it changes to a non-hidpi 1600x900 resolution. I also put the voodoosettings loader in login items but still the same problem and i can't edit info.plist of voodoohda.kext to set a default speaker. Any help would be appreciated.

No "Problem Reporting" files attached.
Read FAQ, "Problem Reporting" again. Carefully. Attach all requested files/output.
Use the gen_debug.sh tool mentioned in the FAQ, that way it is less likely you'll omit something.

Ok thanks for the reply

I have attached problem reporting files. Any help would be appreciated. I was able to fix default audio device with voodoohda after reinstalling my hack but the hidpi resolution of 1600x900 still is not default after rebooting. i have to manually select it in the RDM app

Change resolution via SysPrefs->Displays, not RDM.

Theres no hidpi resolution available at sysprefs->displays. i've clicked on it with command button but still the same problem

Then something is wrong with your setup or display override file.
Try different ig-platform-id.
Provide details on display override file and how it is installed.
