Update from Maverick?

Thanks mully, I've seen those different Mac definitions in unibeast but wasn't sure if it would screw up my current install if I selected one. I need to backup my current install then I'll give it a try. Can I just jump straight to High Sierra from Maverick after that? I got a new SSD coming from Amazon, I was gonna do a fresh install but if I can jump straight to HS from Maverick, maybe I'll just skip it.
You should be able to. I have been trying to get HS to clean install but I have ran into problems with the boot loader hanging. Install in verbose mode so you can take a picture of the screen if something goes wrong.

Well it's been a hell of a weekend trying to get my system upgraded to High Sierra and still can't get it to load. I did finally get the system to boot off the Sierra SSD and not have to use the boot USB drive. I went so far as to purchase another SSD and Carbon Copied my Sierra boot drive, then tried the "Update Directly to macOS High Sierra" method and it hung at 29 minutes remaining on 2 install attempts. I let that 29 minutes spool for a good hour. Finally I terminated the installs. I'll pick up on HS at a later date after I get some kinks worked out of my Sierra install. Did you get yours HS working mully?

I got HS working but not from TonyMac and also got Mojave working. Watch what bootloader you chose as some have problems like clover 4630. It is a very frustrating process at best. About 6 years ago I loaded Mavericks from Tony and no problems for 6 years, but not this time as I can not get anyone to answer my questions si I went elsewhere. Good luck!
