Check if it is a backlight issue (shine light on screen, or attempt to remote desktop, or external monitor).

I wish it were that simple lol. I connected an external Displayport monitor to the laptop and set it as the main display. I then put it to sleeping same problem can't wake it. Looks like the WiFi card is not being initialized when it gets powered back up because the WiFi light remains orange not white like it is when it's enable and working. Also to get it to boot back up and I have hold the power button for like 5 seconds to power it off then power it back up, otherwise it won't power up fully.

Hi, so i actually installed Mojave, on my 650 G2 ( i3 6100u, 8 GB, HD 520 ) and everything working except for the wifi,i was that there's a fix about the battery, but i have to say that i am kinda confused about how to make the battery pourcentage working, and when i unplug the laptop or try to boot without having it plugged in can't boot ^^ Saw somethings about DSDT patching, and other things but didn't understand, i'm new to hackintosh world,
So if i can get help would be cool, thanks :)

EDIT: i installed Mojave, and added only VoodooHDA as a kext, and try AppleSmartBatteryManager and ACPIBatteryManager. Nothing more in terms of fixes.

Check that BIOS settings are correct, BIOS is latest (as written in post #1).

Totally, even I reset to factory defaults (BIOS is from feb 2019), apply all again as described in post #1 and still failing
behavior video:
Btw, i've too the battery issue of @RaydenOBD if i unplug it, just doesn't boot

Hello RehabMan,

first thank you very much for your great work and to all those who supported you.

I hear that many have the problem with 840G3 and no mute function and other Notebooks with CX20724.
Now I´m on the latest Hotpatch Version.

I found this:

and this

You don't need my Problem Reporting Files because this problem has always existed.
Unfortunately I do not have enough knowledge to solve it myself

RehabMan - Is this something helpful to solve this problem?

A simple google search will return a bunch of results. Below is one example on Ebay

Here is another one on Aliexpress

Hi, I have Mojave 10.14.2 on my HP EliteBook 850 G3, but I can not update to 10.14.3. I have a newly installed image with ccc installed, but this bootet remains hanging on the graphical interface (black screen). Has anything changed at 10.14.3?

Did you check to be certain your BIOS is up-to-date, and all instructions in post #1 were followed exactly?

The screen shot you originally posted seems to indicate you forgot to enable legacy boot (may be referred as "hybrid").

You're not reading carefully enough.
Post #1 indicates that your laptop has no BIOS whitelist, therefore best card is BCM94352HMB.
Please read post #1 again.

No "Problem Reporting" files attached.
Read FAQ, "Problem Reporting" again. Carefully. Attach all requested files/output.
Use the gen_debug.sh tool mentioned in the FAQ, that way it is less likely you'll omit something.
