Hello there

I added a second VEGA 64. How do I modify the SSDT-X299-Vega64.aml to fit?
The new vega 64 is plugged into the PCIEX16_3.
I did not use the TB3 card and related aml

Thank you

Back again with now working USB on my 1704ed X299-Deluxe...had to push Boot-flag npci=0x2000 after that it works.

Had Battery removed, Powered off for 10-20 Minutes und CMOS resetted it about 10 Times. Changed nothing, only npci=0x2000 like @kgp told, did the Push.

Now on 1704, new flag in config.plist--we´ll see.
Refresh 1704 with CrashFree BIOS 3 After re-setting bios, there will be no problems, you can not inherit the bios settings of 1603 or 1503, you need to complete the bios settings.
USB works fine
Does not need npci=0x2000 like

Mod boot logo
Also need to take this bios flash way

@mrmggi use attached file, I use it in my rig for my 2nd VEGA64 in PCIEX16_3

Thank you
After I replace ANS2 with SL01, it shows normal. Rendering both GPUs in fcpx works fine

Excuse me, can these two vega64 ssdts be merged into one?

Thank you

Hi guys,
Just started with in the hackintosh's world... I follow the KGP guide.
Everything runs fine except for the thunderbolt Hotplug ! Works fine on windows and conditions 1 and 2 of the @kgp guide are fulfilled.
So stupid question... as my config is set as KGP one. ThunderboltEX3 card in slot 4 and graphic card in slot 1...
when I adopt an aml file. Do I just have to put it in the Patched folder ? or I also need to modify the DSDT.aml ?
Then can I leave the DSDT in the Origin ?
and last things... Once you finish your OSX install, do you keep all the aml file in the Origin folder ?
Sorry for that question. But I am just a beginer.

ASUS Prime X299 Deluxe
CPU i9-7920X
Graphics GTX 1080 TI

@kgp
sorry to insist...
My XHCI implementation looks fine. I can hotplug USB_C device to my ThunderboltEX3 card but no success with thunderbolt 3, even 2 and 1 devices except before booting...
Thunderbolt hotplug works on Windows ;(
I'am running HIGH SIERRA 10.13.6 (17G5019)
Any idea ?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Best.
S.GLAS.

Try with your TB-header cable disconnected.

Or buy a Titan-Ridge and have the problem solved.

@Junologue
thanks for your help but it changes nothing :banghead:
yes I was thinking about the Titan-Ridge... but I am affraid to meet the same problem ! and if it works for KPG with the configuration why not mine !
Do you have dual monitors connected with your 1080Ti ?
Mines only boot with CSM enabled...

I had the alpine-ridge before, and i had a lot of problems getting it work. Now with titan, it works flawless.

I’ve had dual monitors without any problems, right now i only use one though.

Have you followed the guide from start to finish? What biosversion are you running?

I use Bios version 1503. I've this dual monitor problem since I flash the Bios. On 1401, I had no problem.
With CSM enabled, no problem... but seems it's better to boot without.
I didn't activate the alpine ridge in the BIOS. Do I have to do that with the ThunderboltEX3 ?
Other thing I didn't modify my SSDT.aml as I use the same emplacement as KPG (Graphic slot 1, Thunderbolt slot 4), same devices (X299 Deluxe) and my PCI informations looks fine. Maybe I have to check.
