@jsconiers , Just read through this thread and wanted to say a huge thank you for outlining this information. Definitely considering doing this build for a new TB3 studio computer. Do you see any reason why this build wouldn't work with the new Gigabyte Titan Ridge card instead of the Alpine Ridge card? The new Titan Ridge card Requires Bios F11.

Lot's of people have reported it working out of the box. My understanding is that you will have to run Mojave or the latest version of High Sierra. Everything works including hot plug support.

...
I'm having a problem finding a STEP by STEP guide. is there any thing you or anyone else can do to help?
I can't even get High Sierra installed without problems. Please help. TIA.

Upgraded to 2TB 970 SSD
Upgraded to 2 BenQ EW3270U Displays running at 4K

Could you post your config.plist file?

I have a similar setup with a GA Aorus Ultra Gaming WIFI, i7 8700k, Samsung 970 EVO, and GTX 1050. I have not been able to install the Nvidia Web drivers yet. When I install them, my keyboard and mouse won't work at the login screen. Since you have a similar build working, I am hoping that I could spot something in your config the might give me a clue as to what the issue is.

Which audio solution did you use? This build is also to run Logic Pro X, so I really need to get it going.

Not that I know of, how would I check that, or disable it if I find that I am?

do you have UHD 630 fully injected and accelerated?

I haven't the slightest idea.

I followed the guide for installing High Sierra and nothing was mentioned about the video card except the process for installing the Nvidia web drivers after MultiBeast had made the system bootable.

In MultiBeast > Customize > Graphics, I added WhateverGreen and NVIDIA Web Drivers Boot Flag. Are you saying I should have added Intel HD 630 as well?

If so, what is the best way to fix it. Should I run MultiBeast again?

Go to the Apple > About This Mac > System Report and in left side pane find Graphics/Displays. If you see UHD 630, click on it.you should see if the iGPU is active.

There is no UHD 360 entry. This is what it gives for Graphics/Displays,
Code:
  Type: GPU
  Bus: PCIe
  PCIe Lane Width: x16
  VRAM (Total): 7 MB
  VRAM (Dynamic, Max):
  Vendor: NVIDIA (0x10de)
  Device ID: 0x1c83
  Revision ID: 0x00a1
Kernel Extension Info: No Kext Loaded
  Displays:
Display:
  Resolution: 1920 x 1080 (1080p FHD - Full High Definition)
  UI Looks like: 1920 x 1080
  Framebuffer Depth: 24-Bit Color (ARGB8888)
  Main Display: Yes
  Mirror: Off
  Online: Yes
  Automatically Adjust Brightness: No
I am a little surprised that is says 7MB for the VRAM, I am pretty sure I remember setting that to 128MB in the motherboard bios.
