pastrychef's Asus ROG Strix Z370-G Gaming (WI-FI AC) build w/ i9-9900K + AMD 6600 XT

@Feartech Done and uploaded. Very cool tool, looks like a lot of work went into it, I appreciate you sharing it with me.
this thread to upload your files, not over there :)

i have moved your post to here

@pastrychef Ok won't mess with it but no idea what in BIOS can affect boot speed. Other than fast boot which I was told to turn off.

I was also wondering, have you played with ASUS AI overclocking in the new 2012 BIOS? Is there any issue with enabling it? I just got Anthem and want peak performance.

I am also thinking about picking up a used AMD Vega 64 for $300 USD until we see what Navi is all about. Is it worth it?

The latest BIOS for Z370-G is 1802. I have never messed with the fast boot option. I don't find Clover booting slow. The boot process should not have any impact on system performance once you are booted in to your operating system.

I have not messed with the Asus AI Tuner since my Z170 build. I was too inexperienced to know/remember how efficient its overclocking was, but it did give me a stable 5GHz overclock on my i7-6700K. Nowadays, I do my overclocking manually in BIOS.

I am very happy with the performance of my Vega 56. A properly tuned Vega 56 should have gaming performance extremely close to a Vega 64 which means performance approximately in the range of GTX 1070 to GTX 1080. At least in Windows.

Be aware that if you need OpenGL performance in Windows, AMD cards will not be a good choice. AMD has largely abandoned OpenGL in favor of Vulcan. It does offer some acceleration for OpenGL, but it's nowhere near being well optimized.

So what I have done so far,

First, I update my Z390-i bios to the latest bios ver 2012
then I follow your bios setting, though some setting is different,
like PCIe display doesnt exists, just PEG now and
  • Advanced/USB Configuration/USB Keyboard and Mouse Simulator - Disabled
Isnt there so i just ignore it

Then the usb installation, I just use Unibeast 9.1 to create the Mojave installation disk.

delete the EFI directory of the USB installer
copy your EFI to the root of usb disk

tried to boot, using f8 to select the usb drive (Sandisk (30.7GB))
then I got this screen after it

*Note. If I disable the CSM, the sandisk doesnt show, did I do something wrong?

You are still stuck in BIOS settings part. The system isn't seeing your USB flash drive as a boot device. Make sure to select "Other OS" in BIOS.

Read post #5560. Z390 needs emulated NVRAM.

Try a different USB ports.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I did tried all 3 of the fix on post 5560, also os type is other os, secure boot is enable

Disable secure boot.

Just ran out to buy new USB flash drive. I'll repeat the same process. At boot screen now.

THX

Now the new problem is, I was able to boot into clover, but don't see the Mac OSX installer, only option to boot to older Windows drive.
