Sleep does NOT work in xigtun's EFI.

Try this EFI (for 4K XPS 15 9570's) https://github.com/kevinshroff/Dell-XPS-15-9570-macOS-Mojave
I based it on @shenlinsl EFI but managed to fix brightness, sleep, and sound. Read the github for more details

It's really good news. First of all, congratulations!

There are some updates in the latest clover update log. It's worth doing. It's recommended that you upgrade clover to over 4875 and manually modify SMBIOS EFI Version (220.250.320.0).Hardware Overview Boot ROM Version

About installation and debugging I have specially created efi sharing on my GitHub, and also wrote about the problems solved and not solved!

I followed all the steps you guys posted but I can never boot into the installer, I am only getting a PXSX error (attached a picture). I also attached my clover folder. I'm on the 1080p revision of the 9570, and have used the 1080p fix by FireWolf. From what I can tell this means the graphical interface has failed to load. Any suggestions? I'm on the latest clover revision and have made my installer usb from my iMac. The version of my installer is 10.14.3.
Have you succeeded? Many brothers in this post have already used it properly.

I got my system up, Dell XPS 9570 i7, 1080p 32 Ram, EVO 970 SSD, using shenlinsl and Sevinkroff EFI - many thanks!

GPU, audio, trackpad, Bluetooth work (killer wifi ... no go, waiting for ordered DW1830)

But:
  • scrolling with trackpad isn't smooth and not as fast I'm used to (maybe due to 4k config and my is 1080p - no idea how to change that in clover).
  • after installing Little Snitch (which rebuilds caches after install), system became almost unusable - very slow finder ( wonder if I should install some kext in Library/Extension to have a more stable system).
  • need a working thunderbolt port for my egpu which I already use with my older Macs :D (macmini 2012, macbook air 2014) - any suggestions?

Thanks again for all your contributions.

If Little Snitch causes the system to slow down, it is recommended not to use it. For another one, I use Tuxera with a registered machine. It is very good work. The way to insert the crack driver in Library/Extension is not perfect, if your Software must do this. It is recommended that you rebuild the cache after installation or run the Kext Utility. The prerequisite is that you must enable the system permissions so that you can fix and build it. Sevinkroff's EFI itself is modified on my EFI basis and used in your 1080P need to modify the 0 panic problem, it is not recommended to use (macmini 2012, macbook air 2014) It is best to MacBook pro 15.1 or 15.2, the main problem with GPU is whether the Thunder III can be used normally, because I have no thunder 3 devices can't help you!

config。plist Really modified on my basis,The modifications are all to help you solve the 1080P 0 panic problem.

If you have any questions, please contact me here. I will use my free time to help you solve the problem as much as possible. I also want to know the specific usage of Thunder 3 on this machine. As far as I know, I need to be in bios. After setting all the permissions below, the egpu and Thunder 3 can be used normally, but only when the machine is cold-started.

Thanks for your reply. I was comparing the speed of my 2 other Macs I have (the macmini and Macbook air) - my config oh the hack is Macbook Pro 15.2.
Reinstalled everything, without LittleSnitch. Now, just 1Password (password manager) is extremly slow to open, very strange, Photoshop and other Adobes, MS Office are very fast.
I also noticed that the authentification window (when you install something) is much slower to be editable than on other macs.
My eGpu crashes the Dell on boot (cold-start). Setting in bios for thunderbolt:
(enabled)
x Thunderbolt
x Enable Thunderbolt (and Pcie behind TBT) Pre-boot
x Enable Thunderbolt boot support (I use this to boot of a second windows system)
x no security

Thunderbolt Auto switch on

I use eGPU to connect my 3 screens

Some guys pretend to have a working thunderbolt with a Dell 9560.

Thanks.

I don't have a Thunderbolt device, nor do I have an egpu device, so it's hard to test whether Thunderbolt on XPS works properly. I recently bought a type-C to DP line to test that xps15 links to my 3218k monitor. I'll feed back the usage to this website in a few days.

About the password you said, I also encounter the problem, all software is very fast when using, such as using Adobe light room Photoshop to export photos can also work with the core 3.0, and do some tests on the cpu, all better than under Win10 performance, in the case of normal use, I no longer care about this problem! If you can find the way to solve the problem, please contact me here or let me know. Thank you.
