macOS 10.14.3 Supplemental Update

Update from Software Update-- did the couple reboots like everyone else. No problems.

All works here after the update, except the backlight control. I had it installed via the guide of rehabman and all worked fine, but after the update the backlight control was gone and the backlight is again full on. Graphics used is an Intel HD630.

UPDATE: Nvm! iMessage and FaceTime are working again now. I'm not sure if it mattered, but I updated Clover and rebooted one more time

Update went smoothly, however I'm unable to sign into iMessage or FaceTime now. Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Smooth update, however I did have to reinstall clover to get iMessage working again, per the above post. I think it was just a matter of missing files in drivers64UEFI that the clover reinstall refreshed. Working on a deadline now, so dont have time to dive in. But everything seems to still be online and working, even though the files in drivers64UEFI are completely different...

Might be a good thing, I was tinkering with that folder before I had a decent grasp of what I was doing. Not that anything has changed since then though... fingers crossed, as always...

Easy as pie. (I have an Nvidia card. So I was a little suspicious.) Rebooted and installed just like a real mac.

Worked for me, but again, I had to manually select the installer at Clover boot screen at each reboot. Everything working, but Continuity seems to have stopped working.

I can't get the supplemental to install. I have tried both from the App Store and the stand alone download. It kicks off, I see the updating apple screen with progress bar(its goes pretty quick) and it reboots. I have tried selecting the Install partition to boot from several times. It starts booting and then eventually goes to black screen and reboots. I have tried the install partition 3x in a row and then tried to boot my OSX part. nothing. I am already on 10.14.3 and this is just trying to install the supplemental. Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks all.

I had this issue in the past with HD 530 graphics. Try (at boot in Clover) using the gears to get to Graphics ID and input 0x12345678 for the install cycle. Note, see message 4, is everything updated?

On both my desktop (GA-H107N-WiFi) and laptop (ProBook 4540s), I did not update Clover, which I left it at v2.4k r4741, and directly performed the Supplemental Update. Both setups were updated, everything worked perfectly fine, including sound. I do not have to update any kext, such as AppleALC.

Everything went smoothly. Few minutes and update installed.
