Splitter plugged into rear microphone port (pink) and front speaker (lime). Then i plugged 2 meter 3.5 auxilary extender to the splitter. Then apple earphone to the extender.
Why?
Try splitter to front pink and front lime, no extender
Why did you ignore Post #1713?
macOS does not support what you are trying to do, 3rd party solution essential

I tried several paths and fixes but I'm now completely out of options and idea's after 4 nights of trying.

Can you give me a direction?

It works now when i plug splitter to the front speaker and front mic port (without extender). However when i tried it with extender on, it does not record anymore because the 2 meter 3.5mm audio extender has only two rings? Does it matter?
And when i try plugging in rear mic and rear speaker with splitter it does not record..so weird. This is all done with SoundSource as you mentioned in post #1713. I wanted to use the 2 meter extender because my pc is far away from my desk.

Thanks!

Hi Toleda,

Thanks for your answer. I tried that. It is likely that I forgot something. My whole installation was a cumulation of updates and fixes so I decided to do a fresh install. Everything works fine now without any trouble with the help of Multibeast.
