No Audio Devices - AppleHDA Realtek Audio

Extracted Vanilla AppleHDA from update 10.14.3
Not vanilla, 500 KB missing/Resources should have 91 files, 1 file in the attached
Update only contains the files changed. Mojave installer is the only way to get native AppleHDA.kext

Hi,
I'm having issues regarding to using microphone on build in inputs. I want to use apple earphone mic as input in logic pro and I have set both in mac and logic pro to use built in inputs and outputs.

I connect microphone and headphone input from the motherboard using audio splitter (so basically i want to use apple earphone as both input and output to record and listen) but that seem to not work. What am i doing wrong. The apple earphone definitely has no problem because i tried to record with it using my iphone voice memo. It works fine.

I have attached the splitter that i use to connect headphone and mic below.

  1. No onboard Audio Detected.
  2. High Sierra 10.3.16 with 2019-001 Security Update (Sound worked prior to this).
  3. I tried the following guide, but it never worked. https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/high-sierra-multibeast-audio.246618/
  4. This is what worked for me Prior to Security Update… https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/success-asus-z87-a-i5-4670k-gtx-760.134740/. AppleHDA.kext and HDAEnabler.kext. If I apply these now after update it sends my hackintosh into a reboot loop.
Disregard, I copied them again and sound is working again!

AppleALC does not work on your system. Suggestions:
  1. Run Mojave installer over current Mojave installation
  2. Create a new blank 25 GB partition and install a clean copy of Mojave
See Mojave AppleHDA Audio and reply with new files
Thanks Toleda,

I ran the Mojave installer over my current installation, so now I'm back at 13.14.0

I read through the AppleHDA Audio post, and tried the MultiBeast option. Still no devices visible.

Please find attached files. I also included screengrabs of my L/E folder, EFI kext folder if it helps.

PS Sidenote. Previously I managed to get onboard audio working using VoodooHDA. I don't know if that helps in any way, just thought maybe it could point us in the right direction.

Many thanks.

macOS, not native
Search LineIn or see Rogue Amoeba | What can we help you find?

I have tried setting to Build-in inputs and Build-In Line Output: Line Out for on both SOUNDSOURCE and Logic Pro X.The apple microphone still does not record. I have tried plugging in build-in microphone port (green port) and Line In port on Z370 Asrock Extreme 4. Microphone does not record. I tried using splitters and setting it all to build in inputs and outputs I can hear audio through apple earphone but not record simultaneously... What am i doing wrong. Or is it not possible to do what i want to do?

Here's how i did this:
Splitter plugged into rear microphone port (pink) and front speaker (lime). Then i plugged 2 meter 3.5 auxilary extender to the splitter. Then apple earphone to the extender.

Splitter --> Extender --> Apple Earphone

My splitter:

Hi,

My setup consist of:
Motherboard :Gigabyte Z370N WIFI Bios version F2
CPU. : Intel i7-8700K
Graphics : Build in UHD630
MacOS version: 10.14.3 (18D42)

I had a big struggle with switching from GTX 1050i to build-in UHD630 but I finally managed to get it up and running. Now I'm facing the challenge to get audio (Realtek 1220 on motherboard) working after moving to Mojave. I tried several paths and fixes but I'm now completely out of options and idea's after 4 nights of trying.

Can you give me a direction?

Thanks in advance!
