I'm wanting to integrate a BCM94360CS2 (using an adapter in my m.2 WIFI card slot on the MB) and the desktop case has two antenna wires, and the BCM94360CS2 has two antenna jacks.

So I was wondering how the BT signal is transmitted? Does one of the antennas do BT and WIFI or is there no BT antenna at all? I have a BCM94360CD and it has a separate BT antenna jack plus WIFI antenna jacks, but this one I am not sure how BT gets out.

Not correct, 3 antenna jacks, BT uses one of the antenna jacks. Same as BCM94360CS2 with 2 antenna jacks.

What's not correct? My BCM94360CD has 4 antenna jacks on it.

BCM94360CS and BCM94360CS2 do not use a BT antenna as described in Post #2.

Post #2 in this thread? Post #2 made no sense whatsoever.

You're saying the CS2 variant does not use a BT antenna and although it's inside a metal case, it somehow gets the BT signal out?

But then you say it uses one antenna. If you're trying to confuse me, it's working.
 
I have the same BCM94360CS2 with two Mhf4 antenna connectors. They are attached to two external antennas provided by a PCIe x1 adapter. I'm using a Phanteks Evolv X metal case (ATX size).

Both WiFi and Bluetooth reception is impeccable. No need to worry about signal loss or signal reach.

Perfect. I assume, then, that BT and WIFI are both using the antennas. Thanks for the info. Can't wait to try this out in the WIFI card slot on the MB and hopefully get rid of the (wonderful) Fenvi FV-T919 card and free up a slot!

Yes, I believe both protocols are using the antennas. BT operates at 2.4 GHz while WiFi operates at both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. But in actuality, both BT and WiFi use a narrow range of frequencies.
  • BT ranges between 2.402 and 2.480 GHz and uses channels spaced either 1 MHz or 2 MHz apart
  • WiFi 2.4 ranges between 2.412 and 2.484 GHz with 14 channels spaced 5 MHz apart
Because the Broadcom chip controls both BT and WiFi, it can regulate channels dynamically to eliminate interference.

I don't know whether one antenna is dedicated to 2.4 GHz and the other to 5.0 GHz, or whether both antennas are used for both frequencies in a MIMO configuration. Regardless, the actual real-world performance of both BT and WiFi is really good.
