[TOOL] [Generate Proper Problem Reporting Files]

Status
Not open for further replies.
I tried using the reporting tool and got the warning "You forgot to press F4 or Fn+F4 at clover boot screen.
Please reboot and press F4 or Fn+F4 to dump ACPI origin files."

So I cleared all of the files in the ACPI origin folder, rebooted & then pressed F2, F4, F5, & F6 at Clover boot menu. I ran the reporting tool again and got the same warning. (see below).

It seems to me the file dumps did actually occur (see attached pic). Any ideas??

Yes I'm getting the same error on my 2011 H67N Build. But I did press F2 and F4 and I do have 2 items in EFI/CLOVER/misc/ and 15 items EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/origin. hmm...

This tool works on my Z390 build. Except I do have to do the IOreg manually.

Maybe the H67N is failing because it's a legacy boot version of clover r4910?

To all the users that are facing IOREG dump failures:

You accidentally denied the accessibility permissions for the “Terminal”.

You need to enable it for Terminal from the System Preferences. This privacy feature was introduced in macOS Mojave.

Open Sys Prefs > Security & Privacy > Accessibility. Look for “Terminal” and allow access.

Regards

any idea about how to fix the ACPI dump warning? I did do the F4 properly, I think. I do have 2 items in EFI/CLOVER/misc/ and 15 items EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/origin/.
