Hi All,
I recently installed High Sierra build 17G66 (The latest build on the mac app store) only to find out that there are no nvidia web drivers for that build. I've tried a couple things to get round it with no luck and to be honest I would just prefer to be on an older build with less hassle. What's the easiest way for be to install 17G65 as I won't be able to get it from the mac app store now?

@gcon97, please add details of your Motherboard to your profile (account details).
If you have a prebuilt computer enter make and model instead of motherboard.

See Install Nvidia Web Driver for Build ID 17G66 (BRAND new High Sierra build???)
I have added my mobo now (MSI Z370-A Pro), As for the thread you linked, I attempted to do that but after trying it wouldn't let me boot, it would keep crashing half way through the loading bar.

I just want to go to a older build, but i am unaware of the best source to get the build i need

My bad, can you also please add your CPU and iGPU or Graphics Card(s) to your profile (account details).

I assume you tried one of the scripts, which one?

Are you able to boot with VESA mode?
At Clover Boot Screen press space bar and select Set Nvidia to VESA (nv_disable=1)

I used "bash <(curl -s https://vulgo.github.io/webdriver) 387.10.10.10.40.113". I am able to boot using VESA mode, yes

I'm trying to get past (17g65), but keep getting looped back to this (17g65) after update. Was this latest update posted in the APP store in the past few days?

At the boot screen make sure you are booting the INSTALL partition and NOT the OS.
You need to do that until this temporary installation partition disappears and you're only left with the then-updated High Sierra partition.

I am having the same issue... 17g66 build does not have Nvidia drivers that work. I am on 10.13.6. I have tried both scripts available and it DOES add the Nvidia control panel, but I still get flickering and stuff. Plus it doesn't recognize my card properly. Basically the same issue I was having in Mojave. Below is the thread with the scripts that I tried... Doesn't recognize my card properly. Basically changes my chip from a basic 5MB chip to a Nvidia branded one instead.

Well, I decided to try using Multibeast again... After using Multibeast and selecting the Nvidia Web Driver from there and rebooting I am now all good to go!

Back to normal screen resolution again!
