But some people have managed to get sleep/wake working with the same laptop and also same cpu.
Is there no other way? What about the instant patch by rehabman? @RehabMan

From 10.12.3 and below it works, any version past it does’nt

Hey there , i'm stuck on boot without being able to reach the installer, most likely becasue i need to patch my DSDT, any idea if i can do it from windows ?

PS: i have access to two laptops:
1-Dell inspiron 3543 whcih im intersted to install hackintosh on
2-Dell G3 which I'm planning to leave it with windows

EDIT: also why didn't you use whatevergreen ?

This is an old guide, whatevergreen was not main stream at the time.

Now you should definitely use it. Working on a new Mojave guide soon

Yep , my bad i should've attached a picture , sorry about that
How did you get pass the dual GPU problem when booting installer ?
I'm not sure if I should go through patching DSDT process , or I can just copy paste EFI from someone with same laptop/specs ,
Looking for your new tutorial btw

My Dell Inspiron 3543 did not come with a Dual GPU (i3-5005U, HD5500) Dual GPU disablement can be solved using RehabMans guide about it.

Also make sure in your config.plist InjectKexts Is YES no Detect. Should get you to the installer. Also boot with ig-platform 12345678

DSDT patching may look hard but it is very simple once understood. Also In new guide will be including what patches to use.

No mine came without it. They are the same models though, you need a custom SSDT to disable it and use the Integrated Graphics

on mojave you got sleep/wake by replacing the lcd panel is it? did you try to fixing it with EDID ?
