MacMini8,1what is the current preferred SMBios? Mac mini 8,1? iMac 18,3?
- Do both network ports work individually (one by one)?
- If i211 port does not work by itself, have you installed FakePCIID, FakePCIID_Intel_GbX, and SmallTreeIntel82576?
- If both ports are working, did you create a bonded network from Preferences --> Network? If so, please upload a screenshot.
Has anyone encountered this problem or have any suggestions for @htw7448?
This is happening on a Gigabyte Z390-Gaming SLI V1.0 with i7-9700K and RX 580.

After making link aggregation, i1211 can't get the status. Do you have this problem?
Hey @CaseySJ ... just returned today from my trip, and have a strange situation:
My graphics card is running at 127 Celsius degrees, and noticed that their fans are not spinning. Is that anything I can do? I'm connected to my monitor trough Display port
They spin when is computer is booting, but stops when mojave loads.
This sound nasty, mine works flawless.
Doublecheck your BIOS, vega works natively on Mojave. Post your config.plist I'll have a look, check the Vega fan fix in the last chapter of @CaseySJ guide.
What Vega do you have, which pci slot and brand+model?
Did you try it on Windows?
My Vega is: Sapphire Nitro+ Raden Rx Vega 64 8gb
Meanwhile noticed that the temperature info should be wrong for sure, because is the only value that does not change on HS Monitor. No mater what is always 127. So sensor or reading should not be working.
So since my card is exactly this one, I still don't know exactly what it means. Also don't know why temperature is not displayed correctly on HS Monitor.
@ummario,
In the last day or so I've found out from other users that all though the Sapphire Nitro + card has a Zero Fan mode, it can still use the SoftPowerPlayMethod ... I have since updated the note in the guide to reflect this and it seems the issue is more prominent on some non-Sapphire cards that use a custom VBIOS.
Have you tried using HWMonitorSMC2 to monitor the Vega ?... its detailed in the same guide ... I think it's currently the only Monitoring app that works well with Vega GPU's. You must remove the old Monitoring App, FakeSMC and sensor plugins and use the ones that come with HWMonitorSMC2.
Cheers
Jay
Thank you very much @jaymonkey for this valuable information. I will try it later and let you know something!
