I finally had time to setup my Apple Extreme 802.11ac router (latest generation) and the TP-LINK Archer T8E is connected to the router @ 1300 Mbps!

I am a happy camper.

Hey, sorry for waking up a dead thread but I'm really desperate, there arent too many threads about this adapter... I'm having problems as i talked about in my comment above... Some people say they are "enabling" the card to make it work, but I don't have a clue what that could mean, I though it was "plug and play"... did you do anything special to get yours to get reliable speeds?

Hello. You have to follow this guide to enable it if it causes you any trouble: http://www.tonymacx86.com/network/104850-guide-airport-pcie-half-mini-v2.html

Thank you for voluntarily to test this card at your expense.

I have my fingers, arms, legs and eyes crossed wishing for success.

Hello my Friend. Magnos, from Brazil here. Sorry for my poor English.
Do you have to install any kext?

I'm having problems with irregular connections over the internet.
Is there any `kextpatch`to do in Clover too?

I'm on Mojave, with GA Z77X-UP5-TH with i7-3770K. It's only this to do this machine wonderful.

Thanks for your help.

No kexts or patches needed. This card works out of the box (OOB) as Post #9 states. Thus, your problem can solved by
- Checking your location with respect to your router (might be too far),
- Your router and card are not using a "compatible" frequency which can be corrected by change your router's default frequency to match macOS/T8E frequencies (About This Mac > System Report > Network > WiFi > Interfaces > Supported Channels),
- Something is wrong with your router, or
- Something is wrong with T8E card, and you probably need to return it for another T8E.

Good Luck!

Thanks my friend. At night, I will post more information about your comments, with further information of my system.
Even with Ethernet cable, connected in my router, I have no internet acess. The Ethernet protocol apears to be OK in the System Preferences > Network, but no internet.

My MacBook Pro and another hack work well in the same network.

Do you recommend to do a Mojave clean instalation to solve this?
My instalation of Mojave was clean. I used Migration Assistance to have my Studio programs (I work with audio recording and music lessons)

Thanks

A clean install is not necessary, yet. Try to debug with my debug suggestions, first.

- Checking your location with respect to your router (might be too far),
*** Router is in the next room of the Studio. I think it's not the problem.

- Your router and card are not using a "compatible" frequency which can be corrected by change your router's default frequency to match macOS/T8E frequencies (About This Mac > System Report > Network > WiFi > Interfaces > Supported Channels),
*** The transmission is in the channel 36, compatible with both hardwares.

- Something is wrong with your router, or
*** The router is connected with another hackintosh via Ethernet cable and via Wi-Fi with a MacBook Pro and Three SmartTVs. Works perfectly (It's a TP-Link Archer C2)

- Something is wrong with T8E card, and you probably need to return it for another T8E.
*** Well... that can be a solution. I have already connect with sucess. I think it's a hardware configuration wrong. Any idea? Thanks

Have you tested the T8E with Windows or on another computer?
