I tried the script, now my wifi is not detected ... but I have the bluetooth

edit : I launched both script again and now I have wifi but no more bluetooth
edit 2 : I have reboot the pc and now it crash at startup or after login. I guess your script is not recommended for some every pc
Before apply any kind of patch or kext into your system, you have to understand its behaviour and changes made.
Just restore original kexts.

AFTER apply the script, what is the result in the terminal?
there must be something different with the supplier.

yea, this card is great again, i think we have to make a post to guide people
So you recommend the f BCM94350ZAE over the BCM94352Z ?

Im trying to see which one I buy for Mojave.

No absolutely not. This card is a nightmare to tell you the truth and ive had to jump through hoops to get it working in a reasonable manner so I would go with the card thats been shown to give the least amount of problems and this surely isnt it. If you only want to pay 10-20 bucks for a card that youre willing to spend alot of time tweaking in order to get it working then by all means go with the Dw1820a but you can get the dw1830 for a few more dollars and a lot less headaches.

I just gotta ask, with the tweaking (your Dell DW1820a.zip) - do the card work without any issues?
Or do you still have random reboots & slowdowns? I understand your frustration with the card having debugged it for so long. But I am getting a lot of conflicting reports, some people say that it works without trouble (after tweaking) and others say that the card induce high CPU usage & random reboots.

Why I am asking is that the DW1830 costs over €50 in EU, while DW1820a is only €14. The other candidate - DW1560 is €40 so you see why I much rather go about getting the DW1820a which on paper looks pretty good.

Thanks for your contribution to this community!

In my personal experience, the best you can hope is for a stable system during normal usage with KPs happening only when you boot up or shutdown, which can be annoying but could be ok depending on your usage pattern (i.e. if you sleep the laptop and do not reboot often).
This is achieved using @Jsassu20 's patch and @livacore patch from this thread:

https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/m-2-single-sided-type-wi-fi-bluetooth-solution.251676

The thread has further discussion you may want to check out.

The slowdowns seem to happen when you do NOT use the old kexts from Yosemite but you spoof the card in the Mojave's kexts (see the thread above for details). They did not happen for me at all with Yosemite's kexts.

I gave up on this card though and got a DW1560, it's working great OOB in MacOS and Windows and I regret not getting it earlier, even though it was fun playing with DW1820A.

Best of luck.
