Hi,
I just installed a fresh copy of high sierra. I got the installer from the official App Store with my MacBook. Installation itself wasn't a problem.
But now, if I want to install the nvidia web driver it always give me the following error message:

"Mac OS X version 10.13.6 (17G4015) is required for this update. Please update your OS version and try again."

I have googled a bit and NEVER! found the build id 17g66, not even on wikipedia where the latest build id is 17G4015 (But it's right, see screenshot below).... I tried to update the security patches and tried to update manually to 17g4015 but I get an error that I have a newer version.... so my guess is that I have a BRAND new build that isn't supported yet?
How can I install graphic drivers for my gtx 1070 ti? (I only decided for high sierra over Mojave because of the Nvidia web driver support)

Kind regards

Same thing here. I've done a clean install of High Sierra (Mojave being left out of the game for now), and the latest drivers are not compatible... The script is not working either.

That solution does not work. It tries to install the latest Nvidia driver version, patches it but ends up having the same issue Mojave has in the fact that the hardware acceleration won't work and you are still stuck with the normal Apple graphics driver due to it automatically switching back to it every time you reboot (the bootflag doesn't help either).

At the moment I had to rollback to a relatively issue-free Time Machine backup of High Sierra.

Yep, the script from #2 does not work for me. If someone get it to work let me know. Your guys build id is also 17g66? I guess it really is a brand new build.... Lets hope for an nvidia web driver release for Mojave....

Sounds like your NVRAM isn't working.

Problem is, why did apple secratly released this built version for high Sierra, i had the same problem with this 17g66 build not correctly loading my kexts while they do work on mac os Sierra.

Try this script
Code:
bash <(curl -s https://vulgo.github.io/webdriver) 387.10.10.10.40.113
