Hi,

just upgrade GPU and installed Mojave on top of my previous Sierra system. All went fine, apart an issue with my usb webcam. Went through many system updates/upgrades and definitely not fried, tried it on my other rig. Connected to all my USB ports, no luck. By the way, flash drives in all those USB ports were recognized. I can always get a new cam, but not sure if there isn't some issue with USB ports not providing enough power.

Any ideas?

The camera kext might also be deprecated or removed in Mojave. If it’s missing from Mojave you may be able to use the Sierra or High Sierra Kexts. Can you test on another system with Sierra? Download DCPIManager and select PCI devices and find it. Then click on the eyeball to the left side of the device ID and it will show linked Kexts associated with it. Copy those Kexts to a USB drive and place them on Mojave desktop and use Kextbeast to install to Library/Extensions folder.
This is what is commonly done for older WiFi and other support Kexts that Apple dropped support for and it works in many cases.
