Hello Everyone,

i have a Problem and hope you can help me out.

I have create a High Sierra USB on my Macbook Pro 2011 with the High Sierra guide in your post. Then i draged Multibeast on the new USB and follow your guide.
Then i wanted to restart my Macbook (unplugged the USB before). But now i see the Clover menue on the Macbook pro and it didn't restart anymore.

I hope it isnt broke :/

Sorry for my english

Step Three: Creating your High Sierra USB Installer
On my working Apple Mac Pro, I followed the exact High Sierra guide here step-by-step to create my USB installer.

MultiBeast
Quick Start > UEFI Boot Mode
Audio: Leave All Unchecked.Skip installing any audio kexts for now (more on that later)
Disk: Leave All Unchecked.
Misc: Leave the FakeSMC (greyed out) option as the only install
Network: I selected IntelMausiEthernet.kext
USB: I selected 7/8/9 USB Support
Bootloaders >Clover UEFI Boot Mode
Customize: System Definition > iMac14,2
Build Away. :)

But what did i wrong?

HOW TO BREAK YOUR REAL MAC:
(Do it on OS X)
DONE - 1. Format your USB flash disk as GPT
NOT DONE - 2. Open "/Application/Install MacOS Sierra.App/Contents/Shared Support/InstallESD.dmg"
NOT DONE - 3. Open "/Volumes/InstallESD/BaseSystem.dmg" (This is a hidden file)
NOT DONE - 4. Restore BaseSystem to your USB flash disk by using DiskUtility.
NOT DONE - 3.5. Copy "/Volumes/InstallESD/BaseSystem.*"to your USB disk.
NOT DONE - 3.6. Copy and overwrite "/Volumes/InstallESD/Packages" folder into your USB disk's "System/Installation/Packages"
DONE - 7. Get Clover installer (pkg) from tonymacx86
DONT KNOW - 8. Install Clover to your USB disk with options: UEFI only, Clover only
NOT DONE - 9. Use clover configurator to randomize a Clover SMBIOS
DONT KNOW - 10. Reboot, hold option key, boot with EFI (not OS X installer)
DONT KNOW - 11. Boot installer from clover
NOT DONE -12. Select language, and then reboot inside installer
HOPE NOT 13. And your Mac's EFI BOOTROM is broken, go to Genius Bar

i can Boot to Recovery and i think i could install fresh high Sierra - not tested
and
i can boot to the Clover Menue

If you are seeing the Clover Boot Menu on your Macbook pro I don't think a re-install will make any difference. The problem is Clover installed in the EFI partition of the MBP. Read through the post that I linked to previously to find out what you'll need to do.

Maybe try using an external drive and use recovery to install to external drive then mount clover EFI and remove it.

I used clover to install high Sierra 13,3 on my 2009 MacBook Pro but I made sure to disable or uncheck everything but the Symbios or system defInition settings.

I had to restore it at an Apple Store (Gravis). They said that it was easy to restore. I payed 60€
greetz

I do not have any trace of clover?

Go to downloads section on this forum and get EFIMounter. Go to top tool bar and select Finder, then go to Preferences. Click the box next to Hard Disk. Now all drives will show up on the desktop.
Use EFIMounter to mount EFI. Open the EFI folder and it should look like this:
Apple
Boot
Clover
Clover install log

Remove to trash everything but the Apple folder. Reboot.
