Allright but the same thing happens when I try to boot from vga. (Didn't use your config.plist yet, edited myself)
DisplayPort typically works out-of-the-box, but it seems your monitor does not support it.

Nope it doesnt support it.. Im gonna try your config.plist in a second. (Waiting for my system to boot from usb, very slow...)

Will that work? Otherwise I would be very happy to buy it. With your config.plist the system will boot to 60% and monitor turns black pc stays on.
There are many reports here from those whose HDMI ports were blacked out, but their DisplayPorts were fine. That includes me. On my Gigabyte Z390, the two DisplayPorts (which happen to be Thunderbolt 3 with DP capability) worked perfectly out-of-the-box. Because you have a fairly recent Gigabyte board, it's quite likely that DisplayPort will also work for you. Note I said "quite likely" instead of "for sure".

Yes maybe displayport will work but will the adapter work? I mean using an displayport to hdmi cable is not exactly the same as a normal displayport cable, right?

For all practical purposes it's the same thing. The source sees it as DisplayPort. The destination sees it as HDMI. And if it doesn't work you can return it.

Allright, I will order one.

If a cheap one is available locally (Best Buy or Target?) you could try it and return it same day if it fails.
