That's a BCM94321MC from a 2006-era Mac. See this post for the bad news:@CaseySJ do you know if this card would work without further kext? it's from my old Mac Pro, which I'm using as a ethernet server.
High Sierra 10.13.6 should work, but in SMBIOS Macmini8,1 would have to be replaced with something older such as iMac18,1 or iMac18,2.Hi Happy new year to everyone As a musician composer, I would like to built a powerful configuration. Can we work on this Hackintosh for example with an older MacOsX like Sierra or Hi Sierra ? Mojave is too recent.
Start out using the MultiBeast default iMac14,2 as it works with just about every system. Then, move to iMac18,1 (on-board graphics only) or iMac18,3 (discrete graphics card).High Sierra 10.13.6 should work, but in SMBIOS Macmini8,1 would have to be replaced with something older such as iMac18,1 or iMac18,2.
Yes there's still some GPU issues, and I have faith that they'll be resolved when Apple will release an iMac that matches more our chips. Not Working / Issues to be addressed:
Gpu stresss test crash after 21 min, (Heaven Benchmark) Undergoing investigation
Some Finder graphic glitch like if you delete a file it will still be displayed until you close the folder and reopen it again.
Still have to order the bluetooth/WiFi card to test Magic Mouse & Trackpad, Handoff, Airdrop & Bluetooth Devices
@CaseySJ and the others from this thread,
Thanks everyone, it was really fun and somewhat not too complicated to build this beast, also for a noob like me,
it's my first Hackintosh, and I can't believe it's working.
I couldn't have done it without everyone's help.
