[SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

Try shutdown, remove power cable, then plug power cable and boot from USB. The Recovery volume was there before -- the attached photo is from your previous movie on iCloud...

Great! Congratulations for getting this far!!

Have you followed the post-Installation METHOD-1 in Post #1? After selecting SMBIOS you should be able to use iMessage. But you must follow whole procedure because other things won’t work until the full Post-Install procedure is completed.

thx. god!

Thank you for this! I just ordered the parts to build this. Different case, and 64gig Ram. I am retiring my X87 build as there are too many glitches. Parts should arrive by the 28th and with luck this will be up before 2019! Thank you to both you and the TonyMac community. I really wanted TB3 on the MB and you have paved the way.

Good choice of parts! And a nice way to spend part of the holidays.

Can I offer you a challenge to be the first to carry out the full install without encountering any problem? I’m trying to see if the build guide is now self-contained.

Of course if you do run into something evil, we’ll help!

no

Do not run imassage.

i’ve reinstalled everything.

It still does not work.

Please compress and upload your EFI folder from internal Mojave EFI partition (not USB). Of course, iMessage requires you to login to your iCloud account in System Preferences.
