Relevant info:
Device used for making USB: 17 MBP 13" base model w/ 10.14.1
Device to be Hackintoshed: Asus Z170-E w/ recommended BIOS options, Intel i5-6500, Asus R9 285, Samsung 860 Evo 500GB currently with EFI Fedora install
UniBeast 9.0.0 options: 8GB flash drive (GPT, MacOS Extended Journaled), Mojave 10.4.1, UEFI, no graphics options
I followed the guide at https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...ojave-on-any-supported-intel-based-pc.259381/ and the first time around, with a 32GB USB3.0 flash drive in a 2.0 port booted as UEFI, it kept getting stuck after booting Clover but before installing MacOS. Running with the verbose option showed that it was stopping usually in the middle of a copyright statement, interestingly. Sometimes it would make it a few letters/lines further. So I got a different flash drive, 8GB USB2.0 this time, and redid everything the same way. Something to note is for some reason, in the 2.0 port, it wouldn't show up in the boot menu, but it would in the 3.0 port. Exact same issue as the first time. Something else to note is the second flash drive took a lot longer with UniBeast than the first. Thanks for any help.
