Final Cut Pro X - System Crash and Reboot

Hi everyone.

When I run FCPX and start editing a video, the entire system will crash and reboot. I am on Mojave 10.14.1, but was also happening on 10.14. FCPX version is 10.4.3.

Any ideas?

I'm not running Mojave or a Radeon video card but perhaps you might try reinstalling FCPX after you perform any updates on the OSX or Video driver. Just taking a stab at this. I'm on HS 10.13.6 and a nVidia 1080Ti so your milage may vary.

Can you offer any insight to how the 1080 ti perorms in FCPX? Im in the middle of a build and have a 1080 ti sat in a box but really wondering if i should get a vega 64 instead because of OpenCL performance. After reading multiple forums there doesn’t seem to be that much info!! Please help! I also use CS6 a lot.

I'm a lousy judge for FCPX since I only use it for ONE project a year and that is a two-hour long live production with three cameras and 24 audio tracks.

As for CS6... I can only seem to get Photoshop to run anymore as all the other apps are complaining about my lack of Java Runtime. See pict:
