iMac Pro X299 - Live the Future now with macOS 10.14 Mojave [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

For those having problems with H264/HVC, DRM & Airplay using RX580 with combo update 10.14.2, until a better solution comes around, the fix is to install the dummy kext ( attached) in clover/kexts/other and replacing the AppleGVA.framework ( attached ) in S/L/Frameworks.
You'll need to rebuild the DYLD cache after replacing the AppleGVA.framework:
sudo update_dyld_shared_cache -force

I also use the tools attached to clean Kext cache & NVRAM.
Cheers!

The path would be /S/L/PrivateFrameworks? I find AppleGVA.framework inside PrivateFrameworks. Or should I leave it there and install this in /S/L/Frameworks?

@kpg

First of all thanks a lot for your wonderful guide. Everything is working quite well in my 7900X version with a RX560.
I had already an X99 deluxe with a 5960X which is still my master machine with 5 years old.

This new one is working ok, but I have a few questions:

-Is AGPMEnabler.kext a must with RX580? It seems to work perfect with out it.

I made an overclock @ 4.7 GHz or 4.8 GHz, both working ok, but I would like to know how @apfelnico get such an incredible multicore score:

https://browser.geekbench.com/v4/cpu/10949924

My single core score is OK. multicore is around 6000 point less.

I believe you know him, and maybe know the answer. Any BIOS special configuration?

Still studying how to make an SSDT for my Avid HDX cards.

Thanks again for your time an efforts!

CAN´T WAIT FOR YOUR NEW MACHINE WITH INTEL PROCESSORS ;)

Best

I am not familiar with his system configuration. If you upload your BIOS settings and EFI-Folder we can try to optimise your configuration.

Unfortunately, I also have to ask you to provide your systems specs (mobo, CPU, GPU) in either your profile or signature in concordance with the board rules.

Thanks in advance and all the best,

KGP

Hello KGP, I suppose the file to edit is this (SSDT-X299-Vega.aml) I will attach the images of what I have prepared for the installation of Mojave just in case you do not agree with something.
I have opened the SSDT-X299-Vega.aml cpn MaciASL but I do not understand exactly what lines I have to remove, if you would be so kind to help me ...
However ... If I completely remove SSDT-X299-Vega.aml will the GPU work as expected with the soft bios and above all the fans working as they should?
If so, describe it and eliminate it, be it problems ...
Thanks for your invaluable help, of course your work is impressive and in case it was not enough the help you give to the people to solve the problems, without you many of us would not have Hackintosh, that's for sure ...
I await your response even at the risk of bothering you since I am ready to make the changes in the hardware and proceed with the installation of Mojave.

Thanks in advance I will prepare everything this week end.

you'll need the replace the 10.14.2 appleGVA.framework located in /S/L/PrivateFrameworks with a previous appleGVA.framework (attached in post #723)

Please avoid patching any system files with vanilla installs. That's kind of the point of vanilla installs.

Someone can help me, I do not know exactly what lines I need to remove, apart from those that give it a name to eliminate as recommended by KGP.
Is the next...
PP_PhmSoftPowerPlayTable
PP_DisablePowerContainment
PP_FuzzyFanControl
I enclose the SSDT file in case someone knows how to remove those three things exactly.
I do not know if it is enough to remove the section with that name or the lines that follow it as well.

I don't have the AppleGVA.framework under /S/L/F. For me, it's under /S/L/PrivateFrameworks.

I've backed up the 10.14.2 file and replaced the file you provided (I'm guessing it's from 10.14.0). Still no go for me. Any h264 encode operation freezes the OS.
