Hi all,

Come to a dead end trying to get started with an installing of Mojave on a PC, made the bootable USB with Unibeast but it won't work, I use the suggested bios setting plus many, many other variations shown on the forum and selected the USB in the boot screen, but it just goes back to the bios screen. I eventually found on the forum that others have had this same issue, with no solution being available, one member said it was "unsolvable".

my system; Asus prime Z370-p, (on board graphics), corsair 16GB Ram, everthing else is standard build

Don't understand if you follow all the recommended build and install guides and yet get such a fundamental problem right from the start, does anyone know what's going on!!, very frustrating

I encounter the same issue while trying to make a bootable USB with Unibeast, Mojave 14.2 I have tried flashing the USB with either UEFI mode or Legacy mode. The boot option menu appears and I can select either UEFI or Generic USB boot mode but none of them work, it just gets back to the options select menu.

Going further with the investigation I just flashed Clover on a USB stick and I can seem to boot that but I encounter other issues.

@wkt, please update your profile (personal details) with your Motherboard, CPU and iGPU or Graphics Card(s).
If you have a prebuilt computer enter make and model instead of motherboard.

Sorry for that. My motherboard and processor are old but from what I saw others have got this motherboard running, with previous releases.

From my investigations I could figure out that Clover, separately boots only when the USB stick is formatted as FAT, with GUID partition table (might work with MBR also I guess) but is not recognized when formatted as Mac OS Extended (Journaled)

After I get to the Clover first screen and try to enter the shell I get a black screen with: BestLanguage <null string>
- tried to search for this error but found no answer.
Another thing that I tried is to boot from the Clover USB stick and attack also the Unibeast USB stick with Mojave installation: this way the icon to boot the Mojave installation appears in Clover but when I try to enter it again a black screen this time with the circle and a bar.

Also, on my Macbook Pro I am stuck with Mojave 14.2 so the only OSX I can download and create is 14.2
