ok, I did it, but I have a message when the laptop is on power on:

1802: Unauthorized network card is plugged in - Power off and remove the network card (0A5C/216F).

1802: Unauthorized network card is plugged in - Power off and remove the network card (14E4/43B1/1028/0019).

What should I do?

Thanks!!

Hi,

To do :

1/ Disable "Secure Rollback Prevention" in Bios menu (restarting Windows 10 and strike F1 when your screen is black).
2/ Restart Windows and Download the 2.36 UEFI Bios for x240 package from :
https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/fr/fr/...ries-laptops/thinkpad-x240/downloads/ds035950
3/ Install it and choose "Exit" when the error message is displayed
4/ Open a cmd terminal (C:\Windows\System32, find cmd.exe, right clic and "Run as administrator") then type (or copy/paste):
C:\DRIVERS\FLASH\giuj23us\WinFlash64.exe /sd /file C:\DRIVERS\FLASH\giuj23us\GIET86WW\$01DE000.FL1

and voilà !

Hi all,

I have some pbs with my Thinkpad X240 (i5-4300U / HD-4400).
The macOS is Mojave and I use Clover (UEFI).

Audio -> Ok (both Internal Speaker & Headphone)
Battery -> Ok
Brightness -> Ok
Ethernet -> Ok

Trackpad -> Ok but...
During the installation, I could tap on the trackpad to click, now I have to click on it.
In System Preferences>Trackpad I can't activate "Tap to click"

USB ports -> NOk
I use USBinjectAll.
It's strange, when I remove AC3232.kext from kexts>Other, my USB ports are ok but Audio & Battery are NOk.

Thanks in advance to help me to fix these issues, my english is limited but if you need more informations, ask me.

Regards

Ethernet -> Ok
USB -> Ok
Trackpad -> Ok but... (see my previous post)

I have modified my config.plist file (I use Sniki's config.plist and all others files too)

I added (In Clover Configurator>Boot>Custom Flags) :

use -uia_ignore_rmcf

Now I have : "-uia_ignore_rmcf -cdfon -igfxnohdmi"

Thank you Sniki & RehabMan for your works !

Regards from France

Hi RehabMan,

All is ok, Trackpad too !
There are some pbs in my config.plist ?

I use all files from Sniki's guide, without -uia_ignore_rmcf in config.plist I have some pbs...
If you have a better solution, please tell me, your guides are too technics for me, my english is not enough good to understand everything.

Thx in advance.

Regards

You should provide details and problem reporting files.
No one here is clairvoyant.

Hi again RehabMan,

Please find attached details and problem folder.

Thx.

For those who have an audio issue with ALC3232.kext and the update of Mojave (10.14.2), you must:
Go to Cover Configurator> Devices> Properties (bottom of the page).
Change the "layout-id" value :
PciRoot (0) / Pci (0x1b, 0) -> layout-id = 3
PciRoot (0) / Pci (0x03,0) -> layout-id = 3

Hi,

Let me explain, when I use Sniki's original files for my Thinkpad X240, I have an USB issue. I dunno why but to fix it I need to insert "-uia_ignore_rmcf" in my config.plist.
Also, with the latest update of Mojave 10.14.2, I need to modify devices poperties (see my previous post).

With these tricks everything is OK (audio, usb, lan, brigthness, trackpad, battery,...) but I don't know if it's a correct way to fix...
