Hi,

I am trying to get the internal graphics working.
Nothing seems to work that I have found on google, about different values in:
IntelGFX;
ig-platforn-id;

With or without lilu.kext + whatevergreen.kext.

This is what is shown in my system:

Display:
Type: GPU
Bus: Built-In
VRAM (Total): 14 MB
VRAM (Dynamic, Max):
Vendor: Intel
Device ID: 0x3e98
Revision ID: 0x0000
Kernel Extension Info: No Kext Loaded
Displays:
Display:
Resolution: 2560x1440 (QHD/WQHD - Wide Quad High Definition)
UI Looks like: 2560 x 1440
Framebuffer Depth: 24-Bit Colour (ARGB8888)
Main Display: Yes
Mirror: Off
Online: Yes
Automatically Adjust Brightness: No

At this time I have removed lilu.kext and whatever green.kext

My config.plist is as empty as can be.

Is there maybe someone who did manage to get it up and running?
Or do I have to wait until apple is supporting the 9 series?

Thanks for any help.

Device ID 0x3E98 is not currently recognized by MacOS or WhateverGreen, so Mojave invokes the default (non-accelerated) video display driver. You can spoof the Device ID to either 0x3E92 or 0x3E9B, but it's likely that your iGPU video-out ports will go blank. If you have an external GPU, things should work fine, with the eGPU used for video output and the iGPU used for compute tasks. See also my reply to a similar question here.

Hi,

Thanks I did read it.
If I use 0x3E98 it shows: Intel UHD Graphics 630 14 MB.
The other options won't work it even doesn't boot anymore.

I'm afraid that I have to wait until apple releases the 9th gen, do you think the same?

Hi,

The problem is SOLVED.
Ik have found another post where as the would recommend the following:
IntelGFX: 0x59128086
ig-platform-id: 0x59120000
Inject Intel.
Install Lilu.kext and Whatevergreen.kext to /Library/Extensions with KextBeast.

I also had to use iMac17,1, when I use 18,3 the image flikkers.

It seems to be working for now.

Awesome!

So you have HDMI output and “About this Mac” reports the correct UHD 630 IGPU?

Will this work on my i9-9900k?

Could you please upload config.plist with serial removed? I would like to see what other options should be configured and test it too.
Im trying like on image attached, but I get no acceleration :/

Yes, it shows it correct.
I do think that when Apple is going to support 9th gen, I can remove the fakeID and leave it blank.
