Dang that sucks then because the universal elan smart kext doesn't work with our laptop. Anyways I updated to sierra and everything works good except the applehda(I have conexant cx20722, going to attempt to patch it soon). The boot up is also faster. I upgraded so I can use latest version on Xcode and swift.

If anyone finds a touchpad driver for the dell 7359 please post it in this thread. Thanks

I updated to sierra straight from the os. Just looked at the sierra problems in the sticky and fixed the serious ones in config plist and added some kext and the upgrade went smoothly.

edit: Got sound working using the appleACL method from another forum.

Sorry that this is really late, but do you guys think my laptop will work with this guide? Its a Toshiba Satellite Radius 4K UltraHD Edition. It uses the same processor and graphics but thats all I really know about it.

Also will a linux, windows, mac triple boot work using this process.

Laptop specific guides are just that... "laptop specific".

Just dropping in to say that the voodooidc combined with voodoohid do indeed work with our trackpads if installed correctly. All the gestures work and everything. I am on mojave with this laptop and literally everything works!

Can you please elaborate ? I am not sure what voodooidc and voodooohid are. Do you mean voodooi2c ?
