Use the gen_debug.sh tool mentioned in the FAQ, that way it is less likely you'll omit something.

out of curiosity.. is there a difference in config.sys files between high sierra and Mojave? was thinking I could just copy my current config.sys (high sierra) to my Mojave USB installer? Thoughts?

Update decided to give it a try with high Sierra Config.plist
Used my config from high Sierra, install went smooth, Mojave up and running perfectly

Fun science experiment!

With the ProBook series, we use the same plists, same kexts, same ACPI patches for High Sierra and Mojave (and even earlier versions of macOS/OS X).

Good to know, thanks

Is the Apple file system stable?

I ask because yesterday did the clean install of Mojave, running perfect in everyway. I noticed that it is no longer HSF+
now I can’t get it to boot, even with my USB ...
I know I know.. no problem files attached.. but I can’t get in to do anything
