Confirmed working Mojave 10.14.1 on HP EliteBook 8470p
I originally purchased this with an i5-3320M @ 2.6GHz and a 1280x768 resolution screen as a Hackintosh project. I upgraded the CPU to a Quad Core i7-3740QM @ 2.7GHz and put 16GB Ram in it. I got High Sierra to originally work, but then I upgraded the screen to 1600x900 and HS could not adapt to the screen.
Unibeast 9 made my installer, and Mojave is running. Immediately, my kb/mouse did not work so installed the VoodooPS2Controller.kext to get them working. The screen was only showing up as 1280x768, so I ran an old installer called "HP Probook Installer Clover Edition 6.4.6.dmg", and the screen is now 1600x900.
I Swapped around a few different wifi cards, but since the 8470p has a BT 4.0 internal card, I went with the Dell DW 1510 a/b/g/n card. Installed the ReHabMan wifi stuff but was having no luck and went with the Lilu/WhateverGreen/AppleALC/AirportBrcmFixup and everything is good now.
Used Migration Assistant to transfer over all my HS stuff and having a blast!
The Original CPU GeekBench 4 running on Windows 7:
and the upgraded CPU GeekBench 4 on Mojave:
I probably have a lot of extra kexts in there that I don't need, but fully operational for now. Even turned on 1394 and firewire shows up on system report. Have not tried to use it yet.
