[Guide] Intel NUC7/NUC8 using Clover UEFI (NUC7i7Bxx,NUC8i7Bxx,etc)

What is the purpose?
I'm confused.
- I raised a question: Cann't boot up with dual monitor.
- As you said, I didn't try SSDT_CFLALT. So I tried "make install_cflalt".
- "No pr files attached" - attached
- "profile not fixed" - profile fixed and I thought I uploaded wrong pr files so re-uploaded.

Hi,
in your bios setting verify if you checked : legacy boot
in your EFI partition in drivers64UEFI folder verify that you have put EmuVariableUefi-64.efi
latest bios : 48

Thank you for sharing.
I have a problem with my NUC8i5BEH. When i disable secure boot, it gets stuck at Intel NUC logo with boot options (F2, F7, F10) and doesn't respond to keyboard commands or try to load any bootloader. I have to boot into bios by holding power button for 3-4seconds.
How to deal with that?

I usually go in bios, enable secure boot, check clear secure boot data to be able to boot.

Can not boot up correctly with dual monitor(2k with hdmi and 1080p with type c->dp).Single monitor worked fine and it also worked that I connected the other monitor after boot up.
Here is the file:

Problem with "problem statement" so far away from "problem files" and completed profile.

Personally, I had no issue booting with multiple monitors. But the monitors I'm using are not likely the same as you're using.

At any rate, problems booting with multiple monitors connected and powered up are quite typical.

Make sure your BIOS is up-to-date.

Also, you will need to attach problem reporting files as requested in post #1.

Thanks for the reply.
It is not a big issue to me. I will simply power off one monitor before booting.

Yes... that is the easy work around typically employed.

Try to verify bios setting : fastboot need to be unchecked.
How long do you wait?
for the moment i hit start button i wait 8s to see intel nuc logo.
then 25s to see F2,F10..
then 34s to see clover scan disk
finally 8s after choosing hard disk boot in clover to reach OSX.
Try to wait.

Why boot is so long before clover i don't know yet.

Hello RehabMan,

Thanks again for the helpful guide and the continuous support on updating all the config.plist files.
I purchased the Intel NUC8i5BEH to see if there are any improvements over my Intel NUC5i3. I followed the steps and it just works perfect, even USB-C (Thunderbolt) is functional with my LG 32UD89-W 4K-Monitor without changing any IDs this time.
Unfortunately, there is one thing that doesn't seem to work and that is Bluetooth. I know Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are always not that great supported with the built-in Intel hardware, but Bluetooth was working with my Intel NUC5. Does a bios update make sense? Or have you got some recommendations for bluetooth or Wi-Fi cards without sacrificing my M2-Slot.

Do you know why the scaled resolutions (2560x1440/3008x1692/3360x1890) are kind of slow/not that fluent (tested by opening the lunchpad) compared to the 1920x1080@60Hz and the native 4k@60Hz resolution?

HI, I have a NUC8i5BEH

I followed this guide... but I can't get 3 things to work

1) One of the rear usb isn't working at all...
2)Thunderbolt only work is the device is plugged before boot (hot plug isn't working)
3)Bluetooth card isn't working, but I can see it in the preferences pane. I explain, I can see the pane but it won't find any devices. If it is impossible to get work, I have a usb dongle that work on an another hack and I'd like to use it, is it possible?

I attach my debug result

Thanks,
Jacopo
