I lost my iTunes DRM and Netflix after update to v10.4.1

Even a beta of 10.14.2 didn't solved the problem... No Lilu or WEG or SMBIOS changes helped me.

Replacing AppleVGA.framework inside System/Library/PrivateFrameworks with the 10.14.0 version is the only workaround for now. It works under 10.14.2 beta and I'm almost sure it will work on 10.14.1.

Working on 10.14.1 as I expected. Also tried another kext instead (HEVC.10.14.1.kext) found here in another thread but, no luck. Also tried some shiki bootflags... no luck neither. I would like to have a working solution that doesn't imply to replace the framework...

With a GT740, I wasn't able at all. I've replaced it with a RX 560. My GT710 is fine however on another Hack.

10.14.2. I don't use Netflix but I can stream the iTunes Extras. The GT 740 was a no go, with different tricks and patches and kexts... iTunes videos are working but remember, I'm now with an MSI Radeon Rx 560.

The GT 710 is not the same Kepler chip as the GT 740, maybe it is why it works. I would think that your 760 has the same Kepler chip as my GT 740.

Using the RX580 I've encoded the same issue with the black screen when screening iTunes or Network streaming error on Safari with 10.14.2.

The work around I'm using for the moment is to download the film in iTunes first(you can click to remove download afterward if you want to free up space), it seems to work fine on all films I tested it on. For Netflix not working on Safari, use Chrome, it works fine. One issue is with EXTRAS as don't appear to be downloaded with the film.

I am encountering the black screen when trying to play purchased TV shows in iTunes (I'm speaking of my CustoMac Pro build in my signature below). I tried taking all the steps in post #1 of this thread and still get the black screen.

Are those instructions still valid?
