Hi, first, I'm a total n00b (to the forum and to hackintosh).

I've got an Intel NUC DC3217BY and I've got Mojave installed and booting by following this guide and subbing Mojave in for El Cap but I'm stuck at the gfx. About This Mac shows Intel HD Graphics 4000 7MB. Obviously I'd like more than 7MB VRAM :/ Also, my monitor's (Dell U2171D) native resolution is 2560x1440 but I'm stuck at 1600x1200, so fixing that would be good too.

I've attached my EFI partition. As I say, I'm a noob so anything that's in there is by accident more than anything. As a noob, I'd appreciate detailed instructions as opposed to "oh, just X the Y" type responses.

Many thanks in advance,
Jeg

You're using a invalid id at config.plist/Devices/FakeID/IntelGFX, so you have exactly the result you should expect.
(use of an invalid FakeID is for disabling the graphics drivers).

Hey @RehabMan, thanks for the reply. When you say invalid id, how do I go about finding and setting the correct one? Does this have anything to do with the system definition in SMBios (I think I tried a few based on various things I read) or is it some other value in Clover?

Appreciated.

No need to use FakeID with HD4000. There is native support for the native device-id.
Just need a proper ig-platform-id (try 0x0166000a).

Ok, I set the FakeID/IntelGFX to 0x0 and set ig-platform-id to 0x0166000a, rebooted and got a glitched out login screen (all horizontal glitching).

Any ideas?

Did you install Lilu.kext + WhateverGreen.kext?
Display connected via DP (not VGA, not HDMI)?
Legacy boot/CSM enabled in BIOS?
IGPU memory set to 64mb?

Legacy boot/CSM are enabled. IGPU Memory is 64mb. Yes to the kexts. However the DC3217BY only has HDMI I don't have a DP adaptor for the box. Only the built in HDMI.
