Hi.

Hi have switched from 970 to an RX 580 too with High Sierra.

All seems running fine and the card runs with no fans during desktop and is very appreciated.

But I am experiencing some font blur that I haven't with nvidia. I was searching about subpixel rendering and so on, and now the text is better but not perfect (at OSX is near perfect font but with VMWare Windows virtual machine the text has chroma aberration (I already have checked/unchecked ClearType options in Windows)).

I have iMac 14,2 and a 4K DisplayPort monitor.

Anybody has the same trouble?

Fixed updating to Mojave all text rendering is fine.

Mine result in attachment. Maybe benchmark mixed iGpu and pcieGpu clocks?))

nothing special, just check RadeonDeinit section.

Does anyone installed the 7870 GHz Edition on Mojave?
I read every answer here on this topic that contained the word "7870" and I still can't put this Graphic Card to work,
I have a fully functional build without this graphic, I tried at least 100 different steps (No kidding!)
Always booting to Black Screen!

I can't perform all the steps in the first topic, to see which framebuffer I have...
All I know, for all I read, is that this card is working but only through Display Ports or DVI, the HDMI doesn't work.
What obvious thing I'm missing? Can you point me in the right direction?

Why I have references to hd6000? My config.plist is broken?
I always use clover configurator, does it mess with something?

Have you tried removing those patches?

This looks like a plist from UniBeast or a Clover install. Notice the 47 entries for SYMBOIS. And when opened with Xcode you see the MacBook 1.1 and 17.1. See pics.

Open Clover Configurator on its own and create a new plist and save to documents. Then open both using Clover Configurator and transfer the serial numbers and other fixes you want to the new one.

Thanks, I didn't know that.
So, I made a new one, and I'm still stuck on black screen.
This is what I'm testing on the tab:

"Graphics"

Another thing that I notice, is that my HD 7870 is recognized as Card Device ID= 6818 in clover
But in the tutorial it says that the 7870 is ID = 6810

Any sugestions? The values are the ones on the first topic.

I update to Mojave 10.14.1, and replaced my graphics card from GTX 750 Ti to Gigabyte Aorus RX 570. When I boot with RX 570, the system completely boot but with black screen. When I hit any keyboard button, I hear (frog sound) but with no video shows. I'm trying to change other DisplayPort but no changes. Same thing with USB boot. If I hold power button, system went to sleep. I press it again to wake up monitor comes up.
I'm using Lilu WEG with no changes.
Any fixes for this?

Fixed my HD 7870 2GB Sapphire GHz Edition using an adapter from mini display port to HDMI.
Well, I couldn't follow the guides to patch the hdmi and the ports, but after hours of searching, I discovered that a LOT of people had working GPUs using DVI or Mini DisplayPort.
My settings for AMD on Clover are totally EMPTY, in case you wanna know.

Erase the ACPI/Origins entries. Have you tested without the DSDT in ACPI/Patched?
