Arg I done exactly same config.plist but it's same problem for me... :/

What's your version of clover and what kexts are you using? (in /S/L/E/ or in EFI/CLOVER/kext/)

Maybe the kext i'm using for my intel hd graphics (Whatevergreen) do the problem ..hmmmm

Could you please share me your EFI folder?

Thanks

From your screen shot, looks like your PM is working fine. What makes you think your PM is not working?

The cpu cores stuck at 1,6ghz even when a charge the cpu at 100%......
it s look like intel turbo boost & speedstepper don't work

If you look at the screenshot your ll see on top the nominative line of cpu frequency. Mine is the blue one and never change..

i5 3570k
3,4GHz to 3,8GHz
x 4 cores / 4 threads

your i7 3770k is 3,5GHz to 3,9GHz
x 4 cores / 8 threads

ps: i just test in High Sierra 10.13.2 and same problem...

Please mount your EFI partition and send me a copy? it s makes me crazy

And your ioreg, maybe the difference is the bios too because your mainboard is not exacly same...

Hi,

Just want to mention that I have my problem resolved!!! :D :D :D

What I did:-

1) I reflash my MB BIOS with the same F12 version.

I think Clover or some other injection methods made the motherboard BIOS went into limbo mode where the max freq at 3.7GHz. So I thought maybe I just reflash the bios and see how it goes.

Ta-da! Then after the reflashing, my manufacturer 3.9GHz Freq is back! then I OC it to 4.0Ghz ! Yeah it is back as well!! Now the hackintosh back to the fully working Mojave !!! Audio works, RX560 works, PM works, USB works, everything just works like the normal MAC !! except it is more awesome MAC machine !! :)

Thanks guys. Thanks for the tips. Keep up the good work..

When I still had my i7-3770 system, the frequencies would not work right until I switched to iMac13,1 system definition.

iMac13,2 worked fine in all previous OSX version. But what happened with Mojave is, after the upgrade the clock just got locked down at 3.7GHz. Very strange. Thus, I tried varies of system definition, but none of them worked.

I have been trying different methods in the past few weeks, God knows why I want to try to reflash the BIOS this morning, and it solved my problem straight away.

What a journey to get there.

Hi.
Is someone fix problem with stepping ? I have 3570k on Z77 and can not fix it.. stay only on x16 and x34.. If I generate SSDT system can not boot, restart.
So
did you fix you machine ?

Why to use 13,1 (3470S 2.9Ghz CPU type) and not 13,2 which is 3470 3.2Ghz CPU?

@nioyco
My Power Management setup , and it works -

With Clover,
- No ssdt.aml !
- ACPI > SSDT > Tick PluginType

- Kernel and Kext Patches > tick KernelXCPM

That's it. The native power management just works beautifully.

But the main issue is the max freq is always stuck at 3.7Ghz. (I didn't show it in a pic above) Never go beyond it. My i3770K has factory max 3.9Ghz when turbo boosted, and it worked fine before I upgraded it to Mojave.

It looks like something in Mojave limits the freq to go beyond a certain freq.
Thank you. I just did one thing:
"ACPI > SSDT > Tick PluginType"

and my i7-3770 showed 3.7Ghz instead of 3.4Ghz.

Also I have such output:
#>sysctl -n machdep.xcpm.mode
return 0

Is it OK? Do I need "AppleIntelCPUPM or KernelXCPM" ticked?

I have no X86PlatformPlugin in IORegExplorer. Do I need to use it?

And yes, is looks like it stucks 3.7 on Mojave (mine should be 3.9Ghz).

Yes, 13,2 should work. Use it.

pastrychef, can you explain my other questions, please. I'm not sure I'm using my PC at maximum ))
