Use the gen_debug.sh tool mentioned in the FAQ, that way it is less likely you'll omit something.

First off thanks for producing your guides RehabMan.

I just got a NUC8i7BEH (0048 BIOS) with an EVO970 NVMe 500GB and Corsair vengeance 16gb ram. I followed your guide and I am able to boot off the internal disk no USB required. However, I am having a couple of problems. The first problem is that the system will not boot using the config_nuc8_bc.plist I have to use the config_install_nuc8_bc.plist. The second problem and most annoying is that the system is unstable, it's randomly rebooting, seems to be when I am accessing the disk mostly. It happened when downloading iterm2 and installing mac office.

Yes, I have the EmuVariableUefi-64.efi in driver64UEFI.

Could the plist issue be causing my random reboot issue?

Don't forget to use 'make install_nuc8bc' to get the correct AMLs in ACPI/patched.
You cannot use the final config.plist without correct SSDTs in ACPI/patched.
Also, make sure kexts are installed via download.sh/install_downloads.sh.

Check too that BIOS settings are correct. Very important to have legacy boot enabled.

The second problem and most annoying is that the system is unstable, it's randomly rebooting, seems to be when I am accessing the disk mostly. It happened when downloading iterm2 and installing mac office.

Fix the first problem, then test again.
If you have an issue, you must attach PR files.

Can someone upload his completly clover folder from the Installation Stick for the NUC8i7BEH? I have tried more then 15 times to install, but i have Kernel Panics at several points....

Many Thanks!

Thanks RehabMan!
My NUC is still in Office, so it can take till Monday...

I hoped with a complete Folder I can get the system installed. I try again as fast as Possible and collect the needed informations.

Best regards!

Not much special about the EFI/Clover required.
If you use the default drivers64UEFI in RehabMan build of Clover but add EmuVariableUefi-64.efi, you have the correct drivers64UEFI.
The kexts required for Clover/kexts/Other are clearly detailed in the guide (and kexts are linked).
And then you need config_install_nuc8_bc.plist as config.plist.

Then check BIOS options carefully. Must enable legacy boot and must set IGPU memory to 64mb.

I have same bios but different memory installed no 4K monitors. Try 1080 monitor on hdmi and report result.

Btw, I think there is new bios 0051. Have not tried it yet.

You need to attach pr files.

Sorry, but I don’t have one to test, only 4K available :(.

Tried today with a completely reinstall and it reboots with new SSDT. Old SSDT keep machine working.
