[Guide] Patching LAPTOP DSDT/SSDTs

patched SSDTs can be placed in ACPI/patched with their original name (from ACPI/patched)
Did you mean 'with their original name (from ACPI/origin/)'?

@RehabMan Found something again :) Or better, I did not find it. I miss a Fan device in my DSDT, something like a FAN0. I don't see the speeds. Any way to fix it? It's not important tho.

Fan speed reading requires reverse engineering.

Well, I will skip it for now.
I have a bigger problem... I finally got my BCM wireless network card, the one with 50ZAE at the end (m.2) When I plug it in and boot, I get disk1s1 .... (picture)
Seems like the WiFi card is recognised as drive??? Because when I boot in recovery I get strange amount of really small drives in terminal diskutil list.

Guessing...
Don't forget that if you make any hardware change (or any BIOS setting change, or any BIOS update), you must re-extract/re-patch ACPI.

Of course, forgot the image...
I get this on macos installer (maybe it's more helpful), before the restriction sign appears The last line is still waiting for boot device (not on Image)

This is the efi folder from my stick with installer on it. I use that one, since the efi on my internal drive contains patched DSDT and ssdt. The card is m.2 BCM94350ZAE (as from the guide, with native support). It is recognised without any problems in Windows, so it's not hardware issue
