Hey, first time on the forum, but long time lurker on the site. I always wanted to undertake this challenge, turning my Asus laptop into dual boot awesomeness. I know there are really no specific guides you can follow for laptops, and officially no one laptop is supported. You have to fiddle and tweak everything and hope at some point it works. I followed the laptop Mojave installation guide on this site, paying careful attention, but I can't seem to boot into the installer. I have worked out many many problems but still one persists. I have created an installation USB, using MBR, two partitions, one for the installer and one for Clover. I made sure to include every Kext mentioned in the guide and a couple .efi files that seem to be paramount to booting (Like HFSplus.efi). I configured my bios following the guidelines, I was even able to set DVMTprealloc to 64 and 128. I manage to boot to USB, tick a certain few boot args and then try to boot to the installer. I always get to the apple logo and the loading bar until 50% fills up. My boot args are nv disable=1 and nothing else. I tried safe mode, pretty much everything. It seems to randomly kernel panic and reboot halfway every time. I used verbose and don't reboot on panic this time around so I'm able to snap a pic of the last few lines before it froze: https://imgur.com/a/HGO2qvY. I still have faith since the post-installation process is much more hopeful in terms of working out kinks, so I really want to make this installation happen if its possible. Thank you for any tips and assistance in advance! Also very sorry if I haven't included any crucial information I should've.

Not a guide. Moved to laptop support.

Follow the Clover guide linked from the FAQ.
http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capita...faq-read-first-laptop-frequent-questions.html

Although you should read the FAQ for an overview of issues, the Clover guide is linked from the first question: "Q. Where do I start?", just after the bold face "Clover Guide".
Here is a direct link, just to be clear:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-booting-the-os-x-installer-on-laptops-with-clover.148093/

Also, your profile must be filled out with complete details as requested in the FAQ, again under "Q. Where do I start?". All seven details requested are equally important.

And if you have an issue (after following the guide), or on any other problem, you must provide a detailed description of the problem including information that helps us understand what you're doing. Always attach "Problem Reporting" files as per FAQ.

The required files and data are fully detailed in the last question in the FAQ:
"Q. What are typical "Problem Reporting" files?"

My EFI and Clover folder.

Very sorry, here.

EFI not requested. Must attach only EFI/Clover (without themes) as ZIP (not RAR).

Also, need verbose boot photo.

Your profile is missing important details (screen resolution).

Please read the FAQ carefully.

Your profile is still missing screen resolution (should be placed in "Graphics").

No verbose boot photo attached.

Your CLOVER.zip proves you didn't follow the guide (drivers64UEFI not per guide).

Tripping over one part of the guide doesn't mean I didn't follow it. I can go over the steps a thousand times but a seasoned vet pointing something obvious out is why I'm here.

"didn't follow it" means just that.
