Hello,

I have MSI Z370M MORTAR / Intel Core i5-8600K with the internal GPU connected to 27" LG 27UD59-W via DP. Everything works fine with Lilu, IntelGraphicsFixup and SMBIOS set to iMac 18,1 (GPU was glitching with 18,2 or 18,3 ).

The problem is I can only select 1920x1080 HiDPI resolution or then go all the way to 3840×2160. I tried both System Preferences and RDM app - 2560x1440 HiDPI is not available (only blurry non HiDPI version). If I connect to the same monitor Macbook Pro 13 retina 2015 (also via DP) it is available, it's also available with my other hackintosh that is using NVidia GPU.

Any help is greatly appreciated :)

Try coredisplayfix.kext. I experienced the same problem, and that fixed mine.

Hello! I happen to buy the same mobo as yours. And my CPU is i5-8500. And I use a Dell VGA input monitor(Dell E2216HV). I use this EFI folder to install my High Sierra 10.13.5. Everything is perfect except the monitor. When I install the Matlab and Microsoft Excel or some big software like that, the interface inside the software will become blank. And the button is sure to be there because I can still click on it.
When I run a GeekBench Mark, the GPU score is zero. The detailed information is shown below.

I wonder if I can try your EFI folder. Any instructions on the Configuration of mobo or EFI folder is appreciated.

@Moooooo, please update your profile (personal details) with your Motherboard (Mobo), CPU and iGPU or Graphics Card.
If you have a prebuilt computer enter make and model instead of motherboard (Mobo).

I tried to use your EFI to install High Sierra 10.13.6, but it failed. As the boot, the USB disk is not shown in Clover startup page

Thanks for the assistant. I ended up with using others EFI folder and succeeded. Now I'm using the macOS of 10.13.6.
Almost everything is working perfectly except that the CPU can be recognized correctly, which doesn't matter at all.

At present, the major problem is my M.2 driver doesn't work. It doesn't show up either under macOS or Clover interface. It's said that a patch is necessary for a third-party M.2 driver. However, I tried several fix up methods and no results. Now my M.2 driver is used for Windows OS. Recently I nearly ran out of the space of the macOS OS driver......

1. I have installed 10.13.6 in MSI Z370m Mortar with i5-8600k.
2. It seems ok only I don't know how to solve Dual Display, as I only use the Core Display Card within the CPU
3. For M.2 drive, i am using Plextor M9PeG 256G. Yes, it needs to be patched in Clover. Maybe there is no need for Samsung

I've got the same issue with Core i5 8400 and Gigabyte Z370N. Can only use the 1920x1080 hiDPI mode but 2560x1440 hiDPI mode is not available while it's available when using the same monitor over displayport (Dell P2715Q) with macbook pro 2015.

Screenshots attached.

@desknote did you find a solution?

I've had the very same issue with my Philips 4k display and my UHD630. The solution is to make sure you've updated clover, compile lilu.kext and whatevergreen.kext and to add the correct igplatform in clover.conf. Since I'm on an I7-8700k I needed to put <07009B3E> into clover.conf/Devices/Properties/PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x2,0x0)... Which, after a reboot made available significantly more HDPI resolutions.
