Please forgive my likely basic question. Several years back, I built two i5 2500K machines using the GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 motherboards. I haven't messed with them much. They just work. At some point a couple of years ago I upgraded both of them to 10.9.4, which is where they are today.

So, my question is, what is the highest version I can upgrade these machines to run? I'm running into a couple of situations where I cant run certain software or files created on my macbook pro on these older machines. I would be grateful if someone could point me in the right direction. Neither of these machines are using the UEFI bios, but both are capable.

Its been so long, and I'm getting older and CRS (can't remember Sh*t). Can you help a brother out?

Thanks in advance!

Fair enough. Thank you. I'm sorry I didn't do that first.

My Son of Zorro build is running High Sierra with a HD 6850 graphics card. This card is not Metal compatible. So, I installed a GTX 950, and Mojave runs fine.

Stork,

any caveats on installing Mojave or was it smooth following the standard procedure?

I run a Z68X-UD3H-B3 build since 2011 rock stable across all OS X releases.

Nope. I still have the non-UEFI BIOS, so I used Legacy in UniBeast and MultiBeast for the Clover bootloader option.

Any special boot flags needed to use to install mojave?

Considering equiping my Z68X-UD3H-B3 build with BCM94360CS2 + PCI-E adapter for native Bluetooth (not caring for Wifi, continuity, etc I use Android) but mostly for Bluetooth keyboard on BIOS and Clover menu to swap to Windows when needed (a gaming daughter who uses MacOS to do artistic stuff.

As my Z68X is not thaaat rock solid when it comes to USB, I wonder if Bluetooth (which goes via USB from those BCM94360CS2 adapters, would be a good choice. Anyone with experience on those with Z68X-UD3H-B3?
