[Guide] HP Envy Haswell series J/K/Q/N using Clover UEFI

There is no EDID injection present in your config.plist/Devices/Properties/PciRoot(0)/Pci(0x02,0)
Your config.plist seems to have a lot of edits from config_envyj.plist (eg. why do you have two patches for AppleBacklight?).

config.plist/Graphics/EDID stuff does not work when using config.plist/Devices/Properties (all injects need to use Devices/Properties in that scenario).

Maybe you should try with a fresh install (you have a lot of kexts installed, that are not part of a normal install). And probably the more I look, the more problems found... Follow the guide as written with a fresh install, then evaluate from there.

I didn't check anything else.
Thanks, I rolled back to High Sierra using a backup. Will try some other time..

Hello! I am new here. I'm still a newbie in the subject. I am trying to understand by guide everything possible to make the mac operating system work stably so I will review the guides carefully. I download Knox files because the features of your laptop are similar to those of my laptop. install clover and then replace your clover folder inside my usb. I did the test on my laptop and it works. maybe some problem with the wireless network but lan network works perfectly. but to achieve the boot and throughout the installation process check the box Verbose (-) in clover. I also managed to install windows 10 and it works fine, I have dual boot. I'm still testing the operating system on my laptop. I appreciate the help and the guides very much. I still have a lot to learn. I'm sorry my English is not perfect. Thankyou very much!

Full functionality requires following the guide as written.

Hi RehabMan!

About half+ year ago You helped me with High Sierra installation on HP Envy K. Today I decided to move forward to Mojave. That was tricky, I spent +10h but finally got it :) Everything works fine except battery status. It stuck at 1% even it is power on. When I remove a charger - battery status become a red and I have a message "low battery". Can You help me? I have to say that at High Sierra battery status works perfect!
I know You want IOreg which I provided last time (nothing changed in laptop). Do You need fresh one? Oldies are here: https://www.tonymacx86.com/attachments/rehabman-zip.304607/ and https://www.tonymacx86.com/attachments/lisus-macbook-pro-v3-zip.304764/

Best regards

Make sure you followed post #1 exactly as written.

If you have an issue, you must attach PR files as per post #1.
Nothing attached.

No "Problem Reporting" files attached.
Read FAQ, "Problem Reporting" again. Carefully. Attach all requested files/output.
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/faq-read-first-laptop-frequent-questions.164990/
Use the gen_debug.sh tool mentioned in the FAQ, that way it is less likely you'll omit something.

Files attached! :)

Make sure BIOS is current and you did EC reset.
OMG, I still can't believe but EC reset resolved my battery problem! So I can confirm - HP Envy K and Mojave works great. Many thanks!

Right, so I've gotten up to the point just after I installed and configured Clover on the internal EFI partition and ran the Envy git scripts. I rebooted the system after that, and found that none of my USB devices are functioning. This includes all external ports as well as the touchscreen, camera, and the AW123H bluetooth. Everything else that does not rely on USB seems to be working correctly.

Should this not be functioning correctly after running the Envy scripts? Or do I need to create my own SSDT for USBInjectAll and such?

I have attached the results of gen_debug.

EDIT: The external ports and touchscreen worked fine when booting from my install_osx drive after initially installing macOS, but not currently.

My mistake...
Recent change requires new FakePCIID build.
But I forgot to build and upload it.
Give it a few minutes then download current with download.sh and install with install_downloads.sh.
