Hello all,

I've been following tonymac for some time now, I believe this is a great community and that if I ever needed some help I would only trust you guys. I am annoyed to tell you but the time has come! :banghead:

The last time I've been in touch with Hackintosh was back in 2015 and I owned a Mac since then so please excuse me if I did some newbish stuff this time.

I want to install MacOS Mojave on my system mainly for Video Editing and Handoff/iMessage/Cloud compatibility with my other devices. The latter isn't such a priority as I want to have stable system before that.

I've tried several techniques of creating bootable USB although with no success. I got the most success with Unibeast and booting without GPU, injecting only Intel HD.
Other techniques: manually creating USB and creating EFI partition and kexts (same problem), other tools and guides online (same problem).

After I boot into Mojave installation, my system does one of the two things:
1. It freezes when I try to format/erase my SSD before installation (Disk Utility).
2. It freezes when I am installing MacOS Mojave. It usually happens at 30-70% of installation.

Both scenarios have the same result: complete freeze, mouse stops working, computer is not responsive, I have to hard reset it. It doesn't work if I wait for hours. It usually happens when the installation says: 3-2 minutes remaining.

My computer:
Intel Core i7-8700K Processor
16GB Samsung DDR4-2666 RAM (M378A2K43CB1-CTD)
C246 Lenovo 3138 WorkStation Motherboard (M1VKT1EA)
Samsung 512GB M.2 NVMe SSD (MZVLB512JHAJQ-000L7)
NVIDIA Quadro P2000 Graphics
Intel I219-LM Ethernet

Did you find the issue ? I am still unable to install mojave

Did you confirm the health of your SSD to be good using First AID and Verification tools in Disk Utility?

It is a brand new SSD, now running Windows smoothly.
I managed to format SSD 50% of the time, but it always ended in freeze - when formatting the drive or when installing OS on it.

Changing the mobo from workstation chipset to z370 seems to have fixed it.
